Aifos joined in, deflecting what you didn’t manage to absorb, and the two of you stood ready for the next attack when Aifos’ helmet beeped. “Fukua’s on her way.” Aifos said. “We only need to buy a little more time—let’s give her all we’ve got!”

[b]Alignment:[/b] “She’d better hurry up, then, because I’ve been doing that for the past few hours!” [i]He reconfigures his balls into a large shield with a slightly pointed front.[/i] [b]Alignment:[/b] “Aifos, launch me!”

Aifos lifts you off the ground, and with a loop he throws you as hard as he can towards Venus. You fly towards her, impaling her through the stomach with your shield, and causing the entire stalk to fall backwards until the two of you slam into a wall. Venus’ arms turn into blades, and she gets ready to reach around the shield, and strike you from behind! Just then, Fukua kicks open the door, and runs into the room. “Alright, I’m here!” She yells. “I just need an opening, and for you two to stay out of the- Where’s Alignment?” Aifos, readying to fly to your aid, nods towards you. “Well get him back down here, so I can do my thing! It’ll hurt, like, a lot if he’s that close!” Aifos flies up towards you to help, letting you know to fall back once he reaches you!

[i]Alignment tries to jump out of the way of the blades and towards Aifos, hoping that he’ll catch him on the way down.[/i]

A few of Aifos’ swords flew in to help hold back the attack, and you leap away. Venus breaks through the parry at the last moment, however, and manages a light slash. Still, you weren’t majorly injured, and Aifos caught you as you jumped, carrying you backwards. While Venus was distracted, Fukua charged into action! Her hair once again transformed into a large beast, whose arms she used to push off the wall, and land on top of the monster’s forehead. Her hair dug its “claws” into the monster, and then began to glow green. Her eyes are closed, but she doesn’t seem to have any trouble knowing where she’s headed. A soft smile graces her face, and she laughs quietly to herself. Suddenly, a black beast turns the corner, roaring, and bearing its fangs. The girl laughs a bit louder, and opens her eyes to look at the disappointed-looking monster. The beast soon transforms itself into what appears to be Venus, only, she’s a child. “Ugh..” Venus says. “You never get scared!” “That’s because I knew about your trick before you did.” The other girl says. “Being able to see the future is no fair.” “It’s not as easy as it sounds, actually. There are countless possibilities, and I must…” The girl continued talking, but Venus drowned most of it out. Not intentionally, but she found herself a bit lost. The vision shifted, and you saw the two girls spending the day together, playing and laughing. At sunset, they sat upon a hill of sand, watching the sun shrink away. “Aeon, how far into the future can you see?” Venus asked. “A very long time.” Aeon said, her face still graced with a soft smile. “I want things to stay like this forever. Will we stay like this? Forever?” “We’re gods. What could-“ Aeon’s sentence suddenly cut off, and her smile disappeared. “Aeon?” “..What’s important, Venus, is to make the most of what time we have. And I promise, I’ll stay with you as long as I can…” The vision began to fade. “As long as I can..”[/quote] You snap back into reality, back on the bridge, in front of the monstrous Venus. A very exhausted looking Fukua was next to you, and Aifos floated just overhead. The vision seems to have left Venus in a bit of a daze.. “Was that enough time, Grandma Koko?” Venus asked. “Plenty.” You hear Kokonoe’s voice say from behind you. Apparently she’d snuck into the room while everyone was distracted by the vision, and it was enough time for her to set up a gargantuan railgun, that was bigger than all four of you combined! It charges up a blue light, and then fires a massive shot into the beast causing Venus to recoil. “Alignment, Fukua, get to the Grand Hall!” Kokonoe said, firing another shot, keeping Venus back. “We’re evacuating!” “Why you little-“ Venus began to say, before getting cut off by another shot.

[b]Alignment:[/b] “No objections here!” [i]He forms a platform underneath Fukua and has it follow him on the way out.[/i] [b]Alignment:[/b] “You’re coming, too, right, Koko?”

Well, I put it back in if you wanted to see what ut was. :p[/spoiler] Venus made a lunge for you as you tried to escape, but another blast kept her at bay, and Kokonoe had already started charging the next shot to keep her pushed back. “What the hell..!?” Venus said. “This shouldn’t hurt this much.. What did you-“ Another shot, cutting off Venus’ sentence with a shriek of pain. “Tager will radio in once everyone’s onboard.” Kokonoe said. “We’ll catch up then.” Aifos readied his blades. “In the meantime, we’ll keep her from attacking the sub.”

[b]Alignment:[/b] “Let’s hope there’s enough for everyone. We’ll be having a lot more passengers than intended with all these prisoners.”

“There’s room, you don’t need to worry about that.” Kokonoe said, firing the gun again. “All the prisoners are already onboard. The evacuation signal has already been sent, as well, so we should only need to worry about the stragglers before we take off. We’ll need you to make sure none of Venus’ monsters attack before we depart, though.”

[b]Alignment:[/b] “Gotcha. I’ll cover us. Compared to what we just faced, this last part will be easy.”
