1 new PvP map after years of nothing
Friendly reminder that Destiny 1 had 8 new PvP maps when the taken king released. We need more maps..

4 通の返信What's even more cringe is the fact that they have to point it out and make such a huge deal out of them releasing ONE SINGULAR new map after almost 4 years of NOTHING. Excuse me, even less than nothing cause they deleted 11 maps from the game. I'd be so so embarrassed if i was them. Instead they talk about it like it's a huge deal and act like we should be thankful LOL. A single new map after 4 years of nothing is not even worth a mention. It is an insult.

3 通の返信Yes it’s downright embarrassing. Bungie more than has the capability considering all the new PVE locations we get each season. They simply choose not to. Despite a very large percentage of their player base playing PVP Where are the Europa maps? Inside and outside? We could have gotten vex network maps, more city maps around the traveler, some maps in the witch queens throneworld Nothing. We got nothing for years. I’m happy we have a new map coming, but it’s a piss poor effort

1 返信At some point they thought they would abandon PVP in the game. Basically gutted it from their manpower then eventually they decided they might need it and have slowly built it back to this sad state. The game will limp along like it is to the end. It has found all the stride they are going to give it.

40 通の返信They aren't going to commit resources to a niche game mode when those same resources would be better spent on PvE content where most of the playerbase is. Once they fix the special weapon problem maybe more people will play it.

1 返信InfernalDegree0により編集済み: 5/13/2022 2:41:57 PMMy issue isn't that we only got 1 new map, but rather the way it was communicated in the TWAB making it seem like this is the best thing for PVP since sliced bread. If they came out and said "We know we have not given PVP much love in the past couple years, we hope this PVP map and Rift game mode will help fill the gap for now", it would have been received at least a little better by the community.

It really did make me laugh at the reveal of the map and seeing it is Witch Queen themed. It’s like Bungie admitting they didn’t start work on a map until sometimes last year at the earliest. I dunno, I kind of hoped that the new map would either be based off of a Y1 location, or be themed off an older expansion. As if to indicate development of the map was on and off. But lol nope, there has obviously been zero work done before WQ’s design aesthetics were figured out. I imagine design and development didn’t even start until right about the time we were told about a new map last August.

1 返信Damn.... I agree but man, I can't believe ppl are still playing D2 PVP till this day. That's crazy to me and I played for a long time too.... I just took a peak at the forums and ppl still complaining after all this time.... No offense, play another PVP game guys....

27 通の返信and the overton window continues to move. let me break it down for you 1. cries about no new maps 2. gets new map 3. cries about not getting 2 new maps 4. gets 2 new maps 5. cries about not getting 3 new maps 6. gets 3 new maps this is exactly what would happen. this just goes to show that pvp players will never be satisfied . you cannot please pvp players they always want more . if i was running bungie i would scrap the new map cause of this .
