The inherent issue with GG is that the classes are not evenly represented. There are clear favorites or preferences within the player base. Bungie didn’t want the event to solely be a popularity contest. So they keep putting their thumb on the scale imposing either a handicap or catch-up mechanic. The event could never really be “fair” unless Bungie only counted the contributions from the top contributors. Or maybe looked at the lowest contributing class and how ever many people that class had contributing, that’s how many people of the other classes they’d count. So if warlocks had the lowers player count at like 33k, then even if Titans had 35k and Hunters 39k players, only the top 33k contributing players would be counted. But then is it really fair, because all those players who contribute what they can/want to are no longer being counted just because their class had higher participation?

Of course they rig it. Theyve even boosted classes point recieved since they were behind so much.

Guardian Games has never mattered. Ever. Rigged or not. It's not like the winners had any actual bragging rights. It's just which class does the most bounties.

Just like the 2020 election, it was rigged.
