It provides you with an insane amount of Enhancement Cores and Legendaries (Legendary Shards).
I did the Heir Apparent quest then the catalyst. More the only point really is to get Enhancement Cores and Legendary Shards. But I have 1500 EC and 7000 LS so it is likely I will just go play a different game probably one on Gamepass.

Well. The playlist is the Strike Playlist. The Laurels are used to buy bounties. To me that sounds like an event made up of what we already been doing for years. The least they could have done is make one new strike as a playlist type. Like instead of the one that is only Lightblade, that one being a new strike. Idk. I used these forums for years and I still remember very vividly that the last Guardian Games people were PISSED that it was a "bounty simulator". And here we are a year later. An event to do bounties.....
