Can we stop pretending (hunter rant)
The only reason there are so many hunters is cuz they look the coolest so most ppl picked them and never bothered playing another class can we all stop pretending that that isn't the reason there are so many hunters. They arnt op and in almost every single category they are worse than the 2 other classes
Ppl just hate us an are exotics cuz they see them more an when a larger majority of the player base is abusing an exotic it's dealt with fast unless it's stompees I'm a hunter anti meta guy an hate them gladd they will be nerfed
But right now our seasonal exotic got nerfed stompees will be nerfed blight rangers disabled besides omnioculs all recent exotics are nerfed or irrelevant we are the slowest class and have no way to heal without wormhusk or get a damage bonus outside cwl
Yet lorely and void oversheild are still running rampant rifts are everywhere everyone's moving faster than hunters except when moving up an thats only with stompees invise doesn't stop damage or stop ppl from seeing you on radar or otherwise it's kinda annoying yeah but far from good it's just popular cuz void 3.0
So really what's the point of hating hunters or getting them nerfed so hard so fast everytime I understand shatterdive was a problem that took forever to fix but outside of that we really don't have much left maybe 5 exotics that are competitive an that's across pve and pvp an there been the same ones for years anything new is nerfed in a few weeks of reasles

However, god forbid that this idea is applied to the reason Hunters are so popular, it devolves to “noooo! It’s because they look cool!! The looks!” Can we stop with this lie please? It just paints an even worse image when this happens. I hardly think anyone ever thinks HC + Shotty is so popular because they “look cool”, that’s ridiculous.

Back when nova warp was broken, the usage in warlocks literally skyrocketed to the point hunters were in the same spots as warlocks currently are. You think everyone suddenly loved warlock looks? No, everyone started using warlocks because nova warp at the time was actually broken. Players will always levitate towards whatever is the best thing in the game because every player loves to win as easily as possible. Just look at how many titans spikes in usage after everyone found out how good the splendor was, fashion is the least of every players concern. Abilities are currently for the most part, tolerable. Hunters still have so much advantages in PVP over the other 2 classes, the stompees nerf is not gonna stop hunters from running fast and sliding fast with chaperones. The inly difference will be less bunny hoping, bungie stated anything below 0 basically means no aim assist. This means if you are a very accurate player, you can still run stompees and still get kills with no issues. All except for chaperone for obvious reasons.

1 返信As a titan main I want loreley reworked or disabled because its really not fun fighting a lemon loreley spamming from behind his rally getting one shots. But I don't see how hunters are underpowered besides issues that are present on both titan and hunter like terrible void super hit detection

3 通の返信Everyone chose the class for differing reasons. For myself, it was because it was the rogue class, as I vastly prefer rogue classes. The fact that the jump wasn’t a fn gimmick jump was a plus after the fact. Hence why it’s my main of the three. What I don’t like around here is all the Classist bs that goes on in the forums. It’s high time we stop acting like children when it comes to the classes.
