Im on PS5 and played some trials to ighy. Every game I played was against ALL Xbox players. Like that's fd dude. I know they're are psn ppl online, yet I get put in xbl lobbies.

Hardware comes before the software that matches cross-platforms. Bungie contracts for Shared Servers around the world, where the player-base generally connects to the closest server. Prior to the cross-platforming; Xbox connected to Xbox, PSN to PSN, etc.. But keep in mind that much of Bungie's efforts are focused on marketing, which provides numerous opportunities to steer your attention away from hardware limitations, and toward their bottom line. Keeping you on Shared Servers, instead of paying far more for Dedicated Servers, keeps them more profitable than you. So no matter if they pound you with marketing campaigns like cross-platforming giving you new(er) content via new players on other consoles/pc's, etc. - or if they add peer-to-peer code to your console/pc to alleviate VERY LITTLE of the latency/lag that Shared Servers cause - doesn't magically replace their main priority of taking as much of your money as possible, while giving back as little as they can to keep you as a captured audience. Unfortunately; the more 'innocent ignorance' of the Bungie Community is not only clueless to these facts, but increasingly disenfranchised to counteract this abusive trend (and the gaming industry is FAR from the only positions of power to oppress consumers into this collapsing pattern). Short of making Behavioral Science core education; expect this pattern to continue. Hopefully your bunker is as good as Bungie's; cuz beyond their bank eventually collapsing from overwhelming greed, they'll still be laughing all the way to their luxury bunker. p.s. I feel they should prioritise matching on same platform and cross play should be 2nd. Unless this is already the algorithm and player base has thinned out. Its not sbmm so can't see any reason why they can't match on same platform.

And then everyone quit curcible because even with connection only matchmaking every game took twenty minutes to find a team.

Someone is upset over a loss

The first sentence kinda relates to the title, but then we dive right in to 50 shades of butthurt. I agree that PvP needs a lot of work, but "no one" wants to play? 536,000 humans played Destiny PvP yesterday. Could and should be a lot higher, but saying "no one" wants to play makes you sound kinda oblivious and childish. Speaking of children, what did the seven year-old girl figure out in less than half an hour? She figured out all of PvP? Or all of Destiny, as a whole?
