Bungie you know you're going to end up nerfing in air sacred dawn warlock with heat rises and dmt titan with lion ramparts.
Hunters will either switch to the most broken character or play pulse and sidearms with mech trick sleeves

2 通の返信"Removed the skill gap" didnt know instant jumping 3 stories and landing 3 consecutive headshots with the easiest guns in the game had a skill ceiling 🤷♂️ could have fooled me

8 通の返信What's truly funny is that Bungie says they will take away the in air accuracy penalty (even at base, you'll be better off in that department than before this change happens), but you will actually have to aim now (with the removal of AA at base), and Hunters lose their minds. Movement remained the same. So, it isn't about the movement, that's the same. It isn't about accuracy penalties, as they are better than before. It's about the AA. So what skill gap exactly? Gonna be interesting to see how many bouncy jumpy boys aren't as accurate as they thought they were, that's for sure.

5 通の返信We have a winner. Dumbest post this week so far. GL on winning for the month. You have some stiff competition.

2 通の返信Stompees was the "skill gap?" This is news to me. Just don't get why anyone would let those things feel like they were a mandatory part of playing a hunter. The only thing about them that was annoying was the slide and that worked questionably instead of skillfully a lot of the time. Definitely don't need to combine that with increased in air accuracy.
-
Naah. They're forcing people who want to play that way to use up their build slots to support it. Which means you have to give back power somewhere else. But the larger problem is that PVP is just this anchor around the neck of the game, that limits what Bungie can't do because what PvP players will accept as "legitimate play mechanics" is so narrow and so static.

10 通の返信Stompee5’s are a movement exotic, not a combat exotic, lion rampants are subpar to stompee5’s (in crucible) and heat rising uses up a grenade charge.

1 返信If in air combat is skilful and they make it harder then surely they increase the skill gap?

2 通の返信You mean they made a skill gap. For all the people who think they can aim without aim assist or if they got the shot the nerf means nothing. Every hunter who thinks they’re good will be ego checked by stompees

13 通の返信If a single exotic is the only reason for a skill gap, or the largest contributor for one, then it’s a false skill gap and the exotic was indeed broken/OP. And if people really are going to switch to other classes now as a result, that further proves that conclusion of it being broken/OP. In other words, you believe the Hunter to be such an inferior class, but with exception of one exotic that they become the best choice.

Just use a different exotic or shift your playstyle. Not even mentioning the fact that raw accuracy midair is getting better, you just need to have actually okay aim since you'll have insanely limited magnetism. This INCREASES the skill gap.
