How is an allegedly big time AAA studio like Bungie letting this blatantly broken stuff into PVP?[/quote] this is when the "Tank" isn't allowed to be the tank, I think bungie is testing to see if there is any way to make resilience matter without boosting what it does in the name, I have a whole explanation on what I think could be done to let Titans be tanks, but do you want to hear it in first place?

  • [quote]I'm interested in hearing about it.[/quote] I did originally post this for everyone to see, but it fell through the cracks, so I've just hit copy & paste because I think this stilll explains my opinion very well. Unless something is changed within the efficiency in the resilience stat, it will remain one of the least needed stats in the game, as it stands right now, it's not even being used for its intended purpose, most are running 100 just for the loreley splendor helm, back to the examples. In most situations the stat in question doesn't actually change the TTK of most weapons (at least that I fight against), and the most prevalent weapon, HC'S, all that it does at best is changing one bodyshot into needing to be a headshot to score the same exact TTK. In cases where actually does something, it usually lets you take 1 or 2 more bullets from rapidfire weapons, sounds good at first, but when that next bullet is already on its way 0.5 seconds (not an actual estimation, more of a joke) after and you die, it really doesn't feel like it's doing much. This is resilience at its best, not much… which is a bummer, I bet anyone (including me) who chose a Titan did so to stand proud and tall in the middle of a battle (not face tanking a shotty, but still really durable), I believe this hurts titans even more since if we want to play into our class, we need to spec into resilience. One problem caused by Titans is what's stopping Titans in the first place… speed, Titans have too much speed and too many ways to use this, dunemarchers, peacekeepers, + lightweight frame weapons, for M&K ad in Titan skating (since you can't do it on console), even I don't want a fast & tanky Titan, so why not take away most speed boosts? remove Titan skating from M&K, the sprint bonus from peacekeepers but keep it's strafe bonus, same with dunemarchers but give it an increased bonus to backpedal speed, making it more defensive, rather than an apes staple piece,  without the forward speed to make it into a problem, Titans could receive a boost into how much durability they receive from resilience.
