Destiny community is toxic.
That’s it. Hate this community. Not female friendly and absolutely sucks.
Oh and though I’m not part of the LGBTQ+ community, it’s extremely toxic for them too.
Thought Bungie was trying to show they’re inclusive, care about the toxic wasteland that is their community, and cared about mental health? The forums and responses I have prompted show Bungie has done nothing to help with anything.
Let the angry masses form in the comments. Send me your toxic thoughts! Show me how toxic you truly are! Giving me a good laugh at this point.

Don't get me wrong, there are the handful of -blam!- people but it is a minority and tbh with you, I don't think whether your female or male makes any difference when someone wants to be toxic on here. Over the years of playing this game, I think me being female has only been an issue to others a handful of times. I see my boyfriend get more hate in game for being good than me, a bright pink hunter/titan dying ever 2 minutes 😂 If you want another female to play with tho, add me! I don't have many female friends on here and it would be nice!

4 通の返信While I haven't exactly met anyone in game who is openly transphobic, the forums promote it pretty regularly. Veterans day was proof of that.

Bungie is not their player base that is beyond their control many people rock the Be True, BLM, and Peace for Ukraine emblems to show their support however bad experiences and hurtful comments will always be easier to remember then positive ones. A forum post challenging people to be toxic will not change peoples biases, however you can change how they affect you, tell your friends and laugh at the spineless people who’ll only talk sh*t over the internet but probably don’t have the confidence to ask the time of day in person. Also most people with mental health issues probably don’t take comments from a video game seriously, I’m not saying no one does but in my experience it’s usually family members and people you meet irl that do the most damage. the world isn’t fair or kind because some dumba**es feel superior to others because of their job, gender, perceived attractiveness, etc. if you are reduced to raging every time someone insults you, maybe avoid people in general as this kind of thing doesn’t only happen in destiny 2. The best thing to do imo is to not worry what other people think. Just have fun.

I dunno, the folks here on the forums hardly represent most people you’ll run into while playing. I think I’ve only had one experience in dozens of raids where a fireteam member was annoying a girl in our team, and he was kicked for it.

5 通の返信There are worse communities “cough r6 siege cough” there is a clan recruitment forum on the app that advertise inclusive clans, maybe try one of those. Things are always more fun when you have good people to play with 👍

If you choose to play with random people, you're going to get random results. Unfortunately, ladies can be easy targets.
