Please use Guided Games until we can get a better in game LFG system.
Guided Games should be the solution for higher difficulty activities as well until an in game LFG or matchmaking system becomes available at the social spaces.
Bungie, the Private Match concepts for both Gambit and PVP should be used to create an in game LFG or matchmaking system for content.
You could combine the Private Match concept with the Guided Games system to make an unique in game LFG and matchmaking system.
I actually thought the Guided Games system was removed but now I will try weekly to see if anyone uses it.
If nothing happens, Bungie you need to showcase this system when doing your TWAB especially when you have it is a light one.

1 返信So just so I understand your post. You want all raiders to use guided games so those players that don't use LFG or this app so they can raid? Is that what you are asking?

1 返信stnboothにより編集済み: 4/9/2022 6:34:09 PMI love the idea of Guided Games, but there are so many problems with it. 1. Bungie has provided absolutely zero support or upgrades to the system since introducing it. I believe it is still listed as Beta in game and has been for multiple years with no signs of any changes. 2. Triumphs for the raids and challenges don't work in the Guided Games, and at times it hasn't even provided the pinnacle loot you get from a raid completion (I'm not sure if this is still the case). For example, you can't even get the Vow of the Disciple emblem from Guided Games because the game does not consider it a completion. 3. The join in progress/disconnect system is convoluted at best with many groups either falling apart because 1 or 2 people get booted and can't get back in or just all abandoning right off the bat and switching to the standard raid experience. 4. It will not let you be a guide with less than 3 people from a clan, which hinders it in multiple ways. I enjoy doing sherpas and do them as 4 or 5 man carries many times. You cannot do that in Guided Games. It also means you have to be in a clan and have 2 other clan mates who are willing to do it with you. Even if I have friends who will do it on my friend list, I can't if they are not in my clan. 5. This one does not matter to me personally, but to many it does. There are no real incentives for guiding. There are no rewards tied to it with the exception of a couple of emblems. This turns many people off of putting in the extra effort. 6. This one is a result of some of the others but is a major issue nonetheless. As a seeker, it takes a ridiculous amount of time to find a group, many times upwards of an hour and a half or two hours. During that attempt to find a group, you cannot go do something else in game while it searches in the background. You can't even go do things around the house or switch to tv either because if you miss the splash screen where it finally found a group for 30 seconds, it puts right back to the end of the queue. All in all, the system has been left for dead and needs a complete teardown and revamp.

4 通の返信Why even bother. Lfg doesn’t keep you waiting and has tons of groups to help. Between YouTube guides and the accessibility of lfg there’s zero purpose for this

11 通の返信Tbh I don’t see why anyone would use it. Even if I was a master raid completed that could do it with my eyes shut they couldn’t pay me enough to use it in an attempt to actually complete the raid. Matchmaking for raids just won’t work. It’ll be full of new blue berries hoping to get carried.

14 通の返信https://www.reddit.com/r/DestinyTheGame/comments/rqeglc/bungies_aversion_to_legend_matchmaking/ Apparently, DMG already had a discussion with the designers regarding more in-game matchmaking, and these are some of the issues they have discussed:
Good feedback. I personally feel this could have the opposite effect, though. We've seen quite a few players drop off at simple quests steps of completing a few bounties or doing specific strikes. Asking newer players to find specific lost sectors, figure out what mods to wear, and to complete them potentially on their own may just end up dissuading them from ever trying a legend activity, rather than hitting up an LFG to get in on some cool seasonal content and potentially making some friends along the way. Locked loadouts can be tricky business. While many of us on this subreddit are highly proficient in crafting loadouts and understanding what needs to be equipped before launching in, many players need the LFG component so party leaders can walk them through what mods to equip and what steps would be key to success in the long run. Would be pretty awkward to have 6 players matchmake into a Legend dares run, none of which have an anti-barrier mod equipped or arc-shields for those pesky harpies... I know there will be an onslaught of comments noting that this activity feels "easy" - I agree after thousands of hours in D2 and knowing the sandbox like the back of my hand. No anti-barrier? Fine - will just burn things down quick with a Sleeper thanks to Particle Deconstruction. The thing is, there's a massive community of players out there who don't know these tricks or even have great loot to take on the challenge. Many could become easily frustrated and quit out if an activity is taking too long. Others could just walk around shooting things and ignoring objectives. Even if we had a relatively simple intro quest handholding some through the mechanics of endgame content, it's not a guarantee that they'll memorize them. Iron Banner as an example, many show up for the sweet loot & pinnacles from bounties. Do they cap zones? Nope! We still see threads often on this very subreddit asking 'why don't people cap zones' with every event. Imagine every week, top threads complaining about people not knowing to throw balls at the blight for the taken encounter, or players wasting vex heads on redbars when they're meant for bosses? While it is by no means a solution, pushing players into LFG experiences to have those gear checks and push for those conversations helps to prevent them from happening. We have quite a bit to do to improve our LFG experience, too. While I've personally had some success on Find Fireteam, we've also seen the reports of poor experiences / general abuse / difficulty staying in fireteams when using LFG tools. While matchmaking would solve a small bit of that by removing a party leaders ability to boot, it still opens up to some poor experiences with locked loadouts. With all that said, please keep throwing that feedback our way. This is by no means a "we'll never add matchmaking to endgame experiences" kind of reply, but I'm just jamming through some thoughts from conversations I've had with designers when previously talking through this feedback. We might be closed down for holidays, but I can still snag some feedback between sips of hot chocolate... so long as the power stays on during our weird snowy holiday.
I tried it(Guided Games)in the past and it took over an hour to get matched for a raid. A solid group took me through the Last Wish raid for my 1st clear. That was when it was somewhat new. Point is It still took forever to get matched. I realize I’m repeating myself but nobody wants to sit in orbit for 1hr plus waiting to play. I don’t think it’s even enabled anymore because it was so poorly received when 1st launched. I never went back to it after that experience.

5 通の返信I do agree guided games should be sunset completely...it's a waste of space. And an in game LFG system wouldn't be terrible, but the companion app does take care of it.

8 通の返信Or you could talk to the other 9 people in your clan to do endgame content, and if they don't want to then join another clan

9 通の返信Nobody uses guided games, that mode has been dead for years. I don't think even bungie remembers that they added it to the game and was never heard from again. Yes that could solve some mm issues for raids and gm's...... but you will sit on orbit until christmas waiting for someone to join.
