They are active in Grandmasters. We were told they wouldn't be.

Edit: Dmg tweeted. It's intentional. That's cut my farming time / helping people time right down.

1 返信Bungie better REALLY think about their decision here carefully. Keeping this in will severely cripple gm’s as a playlist, along with hitting the playerbase hard in game. Gm’s will literally lose all possible players, and become a dead playlist, once people start quitting straight up. What would Bungie do with a dead playlist then I wonder? No point of keeping it in game if no one is playing it.

5 通の返信That quickly turned GMs into something I can't be arsed to bother with. I was gearing up to maybe get in on them by next week but if acute burn is an intended mechanic it's just stress with no reward.

The incoming arc damage boost in fallen Sabre was certainly… interesting. It took double arc resist 8 resilience and a risk runner on to survive a vandal wire rifle shot (even then I was absolute after the hit). Double arc resist by itself was a one tap on the wire rifles, dreg arc grenades unless on the absolute outer edge of its blast radius… and the tracer shanks. Even the regular shanks where 2 tapping That made the strike a good bit harder than a couple seasons ago in terms of not being able to facetank any damage…. however the boss and enemies are still Squishy themselves and this season the heavy ammo economy is op so you can just nuke everything with ghorns or death bringers. The 25 percent boosted arc guardian dps on hot head (with Wolfpack buff from fire team) crushed all champions pretty easily

The best of the best will love the change, it’s just a little bit more challenge. This will drop the amount of players completing multiple GMs this season drastically. I’d be willing to bet most will just wait for an easy one and do it once or twice. Bungie needs to get on this and fix it soon or this is going to be a very small GM season. Maybe give an emblem out to those who completed a GM with it active, but it needs to be changed

I was thinking about it last night after finishing some GM’s and I like the added layer of difficulty. It adds somewhat of a new layer or build diversity. I could see scaling the incoming damage from 50% to 25% but I didn’t find any of the GM’s anymore challenging. We steamrolled through Glassway.
