Here’s my problem with it: having to grind excessive experience levels just to even get into a grandmaster/play master VoG without being one-shot, ALONG with getting pinnacles to drop
What I think it should be: literally you just need to grind pinnacles to get into these activities. You hit 1560, cool you can do harder content. Not freakin “here grind these pinnacles AND do bounties n crap”
OR
Grandmasters/master raids should be put at a contest mode type thing where no matter the level, your capped at a certain thing and enemies are +20, 25… etc

It’s not to difficult to hit the GM requirements but master raids IMO are a big failure. The problem is the people that make these decisions don’t actually grind the game so they think this formula works. Bungie needs to make changes that work for the majority and not the “content creators that do paid Carries through subscription”. Absolutely zero reasons all master content isn’t the same level.

"Really tired of leveling" There you go, i fixed your title for you. This game has the worst leveling ever. Old abandoned content has to be grinded weekly on 3 chars for 4 years now every single season. Noone enjoys it. Artifact, xp grind, power level soft cap, hard cap, pinnacle cap every season. Rng progress for leveling with no pinnacle gear focusing. This game is awful. Why do you guys even bother with leveling anymore at this point? Leveling every single season is soooo wrong and a waste of time. I enjoy other games instead.

1 返信They need to dial Master Raids back by 5-10 Light and apply some sort of Contest/GM modifier where players are set at a certain Light Level. I don’t want to be grinding to 21+ Light every 3 months to meet gatekeeping conditions of the vast majority of these LFG posts. Other things in life to do, other games to enjoy.

2 通の返信Accessing GMs only require +15 artefact levels. So being at 1575. You’re at 1577. I don’t see your point? Grinding +15 is now made extremely easy by Bungie largely thanks to the weekly challenges. Most players who enjoy and farm master raids are largely under the recommended light level, and they have less trouble doing so than players who are above it and think light level is everything.

Grinding power level to me is asinine especially when the Battle Pass concept can take over for the numeric value some players chase without it being used as a way to gatekeep players from content or render their time and effort useless. Players love difficulty and thats what has been bringing in numbers to the game beside the content aligned to it. Power leveling is just an entry number and nothing more. It doesnt grant any essential value over or towards rewards and power. I mean players are being capped and that is a clear indicator that your numeric value of leveling doesnt matter to Bungie. It is simply a tool to keep you grinding due to lack of content.

9 通の返信I continue to be disappointed with Master raids. Not only do you have to bounty farm just to have a chance, but they are artificially difficult. They just spawn a ton of champions to make each encounter annoying, rather than more mechanically difficult. I have zero intention on doing Master Vow if it’s anything like VOG. It’s not fun.

I finally get to 1560 on my warlock so now I can start infusing gear without wasting too many resources, but it’s definitely annoying having to wait so long to do activities I was able to do before. Even now I’m looking at champions and burns to see what I need and what can wait. I wish once you hit max power in a category, everything else would automatically rise to that level. So if I have 1560 power weapon, every power weapon would be at 1560 rather then having to infuse as you need them.

the artifacts need to be deleted and so do the champion mods and champions but bungie won't get rid of any of it cause it creates artificial content and difficulty to extend player time and numbers otherwise their chinese overlords would take their money back for project matter and sony would drop them as a purchase

1 返信My issue with power leveling in Destiny 2 in general is that it’s basically an entry number. Might as well say “Gotta be this tall to ride”. Plus, You’re not rewarded for grinding longer and getting high leveled but you’re definitely penalized for being a lower level. If I wanna get my LL 100 above an activity requirement, I also want to be able to have the option to tank through it &/or carry peeps for fun. I’d think that’d be Motivational… “Check it out, I’m a god!! Watch them explode before me!” and the person is like “Oooh! I wanna do that!” and goes and grinds. I get that many don’t want activities trivialized but can’t we have an option? Maybe just me though.

this is the reason why I never bother with GMs or Master raids on the first and a half seasons of each year, I just dont have the time or patience to do grind that hard half of the time I dont even feel like turning my PS5 on, let alone grind it maybe leave the grinding for the IB things cuz thats kinda of the point, and maybe make it like no matter what you wont be over 1700 (random number) when doing Master VoG or something

Agreed that you need to play too much to get into activities that are difficult enough that power level shouldn't be factored in. Pretty sure that's why they equalized light levels to begin with, so making it a grind just to get into these activities seems counterintuitive.

A smarter move would be to retain each season artifact and make them more themed each season. A player then can decide to grind for the new one if it has characteristics they want or retain an old one and get into higher content quicker. Or even more radical would be to allow players to pick from a library and select those they want.

I'm just tired of the same grind every season for the past 3 years. I just want to do gms at this point. But the game forces me to play all of the same repetitive activies and grind for weeks to do so. And with no updates to those activies, there's no desire to play. The way I see it for gms at least. The game already scales to your level in most activities, and gms knock you down levels anyway. I dont see why you can't just enter it at your level and have the game scale to it. I just have no desire to play anything else anymore, especially with all these other games out that have my intrest. The only thing I want to do is gms
