Seriously wtf is this? Grind to get a drop, RNG its the weapon your searching for, RGN its a red border, then forced to use it to get the deep sight done, remove the deep sight into your unknown pool are resources, or vault it, repeat 3-5 times per weapon.
Per Bungo crafting was supposed to eliminate saving everything in your vault, my vault has twice as many more red border competed weapons than the rest of my weapons and other stuff combined
I per Bungo they want players to use other weapons and perks to see if they like other things. How about you let us use the f’n weapons and perks we want to use?
Oh and if you want to change up your weapon, more mats, what to put back a perk you already had? More mats, want to make a new one with perks you already had? More mats
This hands down the absolute worst example of “crafting” I have ever seen. I use the word “crafting” loosely because this is not crafting this is grind grind grind make a gun grind grind grind. There’s no crafting to it at all. There’s no find gun materials or barrel materials or anything of the sort just hope you get a weapon drop grind grind grind make a gun.
Anyway just like their stupid version of transmog this sucks. Hope they fix it (but we know they won’t)

1 返信Yeah, weapon crafting and the glaives are some of the biggest let-downs in the history of the game.

Yep
Per Bungo crafting was supposed to eliminate saving everything in your vault, my vault has twice as many more red border competed weapons than the rest of my weapons and other stuff combined
If the Idea was to 'eliminate the strain on our vaults' wouldn't it have made sense to craft weapons with many selectable perks? Keep one weapon, select between all the perks. It's better to have two or three versions of a gun than keep one and jump through the hoops every time you want to swap perks. Yep
This hands down the absolute worst example of “crafting” I have ever seen. I use the word “crafting” loosely because this is not crafting this is grind grind grind make a gun grind grind grind.
Bungie's goal is to keep us playing, fair enough. This system is grindy, yes, but it's not mutually beneficial. See, Bungie, the trick is to make a system to keep us grinding AND reward that grind with something worth the time put in. If you designed the crafting system to benefit the player, then you can't stop players from grinding, but this system you designed, people are going to stop as soon as it dawns on them that it's not worth the grind

1 返信😂 Ah the good old pay 10x the materials for 5 points in ONE stat, while 4 points in one stat costs 300 base materials on it's own. Great system. The only thing that's enhanced about them is the scam behind the material grind. Its amazing how many still defend that. This failed and incompetent attempt at crafting was apparent, immediately when crafting the first "enhanced" perk. Gave it an honest shot, for benefit of the doubt, did three separate enhanced perks, and all it proved was they're worthless. Its ok. Saves me time and stress. That's less pointless garbage to chase.

Zinjo 2017により編集済み: 4/4/2022 7:23:17 AMIf D2 is ONLY a loot game then then vault needs to double in size. If Bungie is indeed serious about crafting to reduce vault sizes then the system needs to be simplified and fixed. Crafting materials need to be visible in our resource inventories. There are all kinds of materials that are not really relevant to the latest expansion, yet they are clearly visible in our inventories. Make world loot legendaries available for crafting. As for grinding red bands, Bungie has made shortcuts for this process, but I won't mention them here. Each individual weapon perk crafted should remain unlocked as they are already paid for. This allows players to experiment with perks without having to pay "AGAIN" for the same perk if they change their minds and want to revert back. However the change in paid for perks on a crafted weapon would cost 500 glimmer. The same cost as adding a mod to your weapon last season. When a weapon hits level 20, a second row of perk slots become available for crafting and added to your weapon. This keeps crafting an ongoing process and avoids this new process from becoming stale over time. The weapon resources needs to be streamlined considerably. I suggest using the armor upgrade system as a guide. Simple, yet effective.

https://technicalustad.com/what-is-rng-is-it-good-or-bad/ ok before anyone complains you should look at all facts of what rng is there are 2 types of rng , true rng and pseudo rng. All most all games don't us true rng. And this link does talk about destiny. Have fun reading and learning.

1 返信Yup. I've been saying it since they(bungo) brought up weapon crafting. D1 rerolling. Same issue along with everyone chasing the best roll or god roll for each weapon type. The perk pool for the current weapon crafting is beyond obnoxious to unlock. Grind the red bar weapons, use them to unlock the material is complete shite. I can't level the weapon I've crafted because I'm caught in this stupid loop of unlocking materials that take forever to do. I've had a few world drops that have better perks than my current crafted one....so do I bother upgrading the crafted one, or just use the rando? I also thought leveling up the crafted weapons would in turn make them more powerful, I may have read the twab wrong on that though. At some point there will be the same D1 reroll nerf/stop coming for D2 "crafting". "Weapon crafting is not working as we intended......."

True. And you know what's funny? The fact that Wizard101 has a better crafting system then this. Yes you read correctly, Wizard101 has a better crafting system then this pathetic excuse of a crafting system that Bungo came up with. Now THAT, is truly hilarious.

Yeah crafting is a chore with little reward. Takes way too long to unlock decent patterns and waaaaay too long to level up for decent perks. It’s a work in progress, hopefully they rethink the grind because at this point random drops are usually much better than crafting with bland perks. Maybe crafting should have some different and special perks other than enhanced versions what we always had.

3 通の返信ryebarにより編集済み: 4/3/2022 7:19:36 PMThe kill grind once you decide to craft a weapon to get it to the level where enhanced perks can be chosen is way to extreme. In my opinion. I’ve crafted Piece of Mind. Levelled it, and after doing this I was literally sick of using the gun. I have zero desire to craft anything else.

2 通の返信Crafting is a waste of time, from what I've seen, the enhanced perks aren't any better than the regular perks. Not bothering with crafting anymore.

30 通の返信Destiny is not a crafting game. Its a loot game. ALL loot games that have crafting are designed so that PLAYING THE GAME, and getting loot drops stays the most efficient way to play. Otherwise you break the game....and the game turns into crafting materials farm....and standing in some social space feeding a slot machine those materials. Not. Fun. ....and a good way for a developer to destroy their own game.

They should have been clear on what their intent for crafting is. If you take a step back and rethink the situation, it should be clear exactly what they were going for - and it isn't a good crafting system. What they've done is implement bad rng protection. You want an insidious with rapid hit and Vorpal, along with accurized rounds and arrowhead break? Pre-crafting your only option would have been to endlessly grind the raid, with limited drops per week, and maybe never get the roll you wanted. Now, you only technically need to beast the raid 5 different weeks and you can guarantee being able to craft insidious with exactly the perks you want. If you change your outlook from crafting system to bad rng protection, they've actually done a great job. They just weren't clear on what they were actually delivering.

1 返信I went from 339 in vault, cleaned it up abit and was around 177. This crafting system has increased my vault to 404 lol. I know what some will say, it's the same song and dance. But I'm hoarding those red bar weapons as well. It's really a horrible system, honestly I don't think it was even designed to help us, more like help them and increase grind for us

Weapon crafting is a secondary focus, only there for the non casual. As a non casual, I like it. When I hit the cap in materials, I'll craft something. Otherwise I don't pay much attention to it besides shuffling weapons during strikes and wellspring.
-
At first I thought crafting would be very unique when bungie isn’t really giving us more a bad idea from them was releasing a crafting system that had basically just says wellspring throne and etc but no world loot basically kind of a sad way to introduce it and bring stuff slowly over time honestly too

I think with the changes they've made that it's fine. It's easier to get deepsight drops than it was at launch. I've got a backlog of several resonance weapons that I have to grind out. I have already unlocked more than half the craftable weapons (not counting the raid weapons) and have 3 that are already between level 10 and 16. This is a decent system. It's not perfect but I think once we tick into next season and all the random elements fall off it won't be too bad. We just need more weapons to craft.
