It’s not an unwarranted disposition tbh. Tinfoil hats used to worry about implanting rfid’s. Now everyone carries one voluntarily.
There’s cameras on everyone everywhere at all times. A surveillance state. Ppl have traded autonomy and privacy for a sense false of security
Everyone’s connected to everyone else instantly around the world; there’s gonna be more than a few monkeys typing Hamlet simultaneously
The problem, as I see it, is social media. Before you cringe hear me out.
Everyone is the protagonist. Ppl are so scared of a dissenting opinion that they block everyone who doesn’t believe the exact same things they do. More cringe: bubbles
Ppl don’t know how to disagree anymore. Only hate. They’re out of touch with reality. They think anyone and everyone are NPCs so they’ve never actually developed empathy through actions because someone else won’t be there to witness and record it
Altruism barely exists and is on life support. You can state an objective fact about the world around us and ppl will automatically think you’re talking about them personally.
They can’t imagine someone else might be going through the same things at the same time. Even when I’m there’s 7 billion ppl in the world.
I’m sorry but, they bring it upon themselves. Narcissism, antipathy, sociopathy, etc
I feel sorry for them more than anything else
