That's not a good answer. Pull your head out of your A. There's no reason exotics should cost that much. They don't provide crazy additional benefits for costing that much. Stop defending a broken a system. No one is being handed anything. Asking for a reasonable cost is...reasonable.

So, first off, his answer is decent. If you feel entitled to anything, then you obvious were born in the wrong time period or even the wrong universe. Things take time to achieve and acquire. The game has been this way for quite some time, and instead of complaining about it, I have been able to acquire the skills and knowledge to do legend nightfalls with little to no effort on my part with my friends. That's been how I got all my prisms which I have then used to turn into shards. If this is your first season, then you'll hopefully have either bought the pass or the deluxe WQ in order to gain access to the bottom row of the seasonal rewards. That guarantees you 3 shards right there. If you cannot put in the time to grind out the materials, then maybe it would be best to either find those willing to carry you through master nightfalls or just find a different game. Bungie owes you nothing. This is a form of entertainment that you have chosen to play.

FYI I have 10 shards sitting in the post master. Unlike you I can see beyond myself. There's no valid reason masterworking an Exotic should cost 3. You literally can't give me a good reason. This is just a wall of elitism and idiocy.

Exotics should cost 2 instead of 3 or continue costing 3 but return 2 on dismantle Or GMs should be available after the first week

Sounds like you are just stirring the pot at this point. If you don't like the system then don't use it. It's not going to change because 2 or 3 people complain about it. Why not take OP under your wing and show him how easy it is to get shards since you're able to farm enough to not use them all.

With that mindset the whole system is broken. The game is gated in multiple places. Time gates, progression gates etc. Idc how many shards it costs for MW an exotic, but complaining even though you don't put in the effort? Plenty of casuals continue to clear GMs. If there wasn't a wall of grind the game would have nothing to do.
