They only seem op because of the engagement range. Let’s explain, they fit into that range archetype where it’s too far for shotguns so you play for a primary battle just to die to a special. Or you attempt to close the distance to use a shotgun thinking they again, have a primary only to die to a fusion. In short, most cases it’s a misplay on your (and my own) part. Very rarely do I feel a fusion is op. I do think some of the consistency perks are too strong on a fusion, but they would be awful without them. Hard to find a true balance tbh.

6 通の返信It is always the shotgun hand cannon users complaining about this, every single time.

6 通の返信It seems you whiny PvP children have finally brought this full circle and are now asking to Nerf fusion rifles.

4 通の返信Can we talk about how long crutch cannons and shítguns have absolutely dominated the pvp meta for years? All the way back to D1? Suddenly y'all are crying extra hard when something under the rader starts killing you and is getting used more. Funny thing though, hc and sg are both STILL ahead of fusion's in kill stats. Weird, almost like they aren't a real issue.

13 通の返信Nope. Please resume your aping somewhere else. Fusions are now viable like snipers and shotguns

5 通の返信Just remember men in their late 20’s believe fusion rifles and shotguns require a high level of skill. They wouldn’t last in halo. Not for a min

hate n payneにより編集済み: 3/15/2022 2:03:35 PMOne fusion rifle versus multiple shotguns. We need to start being specific about what we feel is OP and not the entire archetype. Weapons such as Cartesian Coordinate, Trinity System and Coriolis Force don’t even get mention for usage even in normal play for PVP. There are many factors that play into why you are assuming something such as a fusion or even Hand Cannons are OP. The maps and their designs that aren’t ever being used as changes for the sandbox. Clutter removal or additions aligned with space expansion are never used to address sandbox changes. Maps being too small or large for the amount of numbers on field or appropriate mode and playlist. Different perk, stat distribution or scopes options between weapons that make that weapon feel strong or weak. Underwhelming weapons, exotics and subclasses not being used or improved for versatility or viability as potential options against outliers. Map awareness and game sense. Over committing to gunfights rather than picking and choosing which ones to actually should fight in versus assuming you gone win each one. Watching streamers or getting information from them to generate a copy and paste playstyle that isn’t one that you developed through trials and error. The list could and can go on. All I am saying is asking for nerfing when something that hasn’t been viable at a consistent basis for usage is players not being accustomed to playing against it. Yes there are outliers but we are so accustomed to playing against shotguns, we have forgotten that fusions existed for a while. The same can be said when snipers go through their phase as well. Is Main Ingredient a problem??? yes of course but it has everything to do with a few perk options for the weapon and the ease of use it holds. Just be specific when you ask for nerfs and stop putting each and every archetype in the same mix when you know it isn’t all of them that are killing you. We have repeated this process for too long and since Bungie isn’t a real PVP oriented team, they are going to over nerf concepts which ends up setting up a new replacement for complaints and ruin the element of PVE alongside it.

Precision frames are the outliers. Every other archetype has some sort of draw back but not these. It's just annoying at this point to be going against a win button. Fix precision frames and I think every thing else will settle down. Start by increasing the charge time.
-
Only if you acknowledge that HC's & Shottys are the reason why fusions are necessary. Let's be honest Bungie doesn't care about PVP or balancing or fixing it. Your choice is play it as is or don't engage with a broken mode.

hmmm while they have been anoying since winter event they atleast seem to require some skill unlike the shotgun ape meta... you have to time ur shots better due to the charge mechanism, which requires tracking or good timing... things im not personally good at but i can respect those that are.
-
4 通の返信Personally, I feel that the magnetism is what makes Fusions so oppressive, they require considerably little precision.

5 通の返信You should watch TrueV’s recent vid about this very topic. Your not right…your also not wrong. He has a bunch of stats and some good perspective
Title
Every one hit kill weapon is OP. This is why I refuse to use them. This is also why I’m considered bad at crucible. Overshields, invis, one hit kills the game is just not that much fun but like a crack addict I keep coming back for more abuse
