This post seems to be a hot take compared to the others I've seen, but I wanted to share my thoughts for my experience with the raid.
Firstly, I love this raid. This is probably one of my favorites atleast in D2 and maybe the franchise. I currently only have 3 clears of it but I can definitely say I will be running this raid every week for the foreseeable future.
The Atmosphere: Since the ending of the Red War campaign I, as well as many others, have been awfully curious about the pyramid ships. To actually be able to explore one in a raid setting was breathtaking, especially in the first 48 hours. Each encounter and the space between is seems to be relatively unique in terms of layout and feel. It really feels like you're fighting your way through the heart of the ship.
The Mechanics: I like them. As hot of a take as that may be, I don't think that it is as bad as everyone is making it seem. I was nervous at first but just like anything all it takes is practice. Once I gave it a few runs I found it relatively easy to understand what my team was trying to communicate to me. As long as you have clear communication this raid is very doable for the average player. The encounters are fun in their own unique way while using the same overarching mechanic, the symbols. Rhulk is probably my favorite boss in the franchise. He actually feels like a boss while having to weave in damage between his attacks. He's not stagnant like Sanctified Mind, Atraks, or Atheon.
The Drops: Not much to say here. I think the weapons have some extremely good perk rolls and look pretty neat. The armor, however, looks terrible imo. I think the titan helm looks nifty but that's about it.
TLDR: I love the raid. Beautiful area, good mechanics, fairly good drops. Good job Bungie.

2 通の返信Pretty bummed about the Warlock armor, hunters got shafted too. The weapons seem great, I've only dropped the launcher but it's amazing

3 通の返信Some individual armor pieces aren't bad, but wearing the whole set is bleh. Bungies artwork is usually never an issue, skyboxes are always well done, some locations however are overdone or underwhelming. 1st encounter reminds me a lot of DSC security. Caretaker is basically callus boss damage with the obelisk mechanic from encounter 1. 3rd encounter is super buggy. There were times blights we're detonated and either nothing happened to them or they respawn after you move to the next one. Cleanse will say cleansed on screen, but the actual cleanse transfer from the relic holder cleansing to actually being cleansed is delayed at times. ( Reminiscent of rift activation animation on warlock to actual time of benefits). This only seems to be in the 4th room, 3rd encounter. Boss fight is fine, finally something that's not a DPS dump. Also it's not a recycled mechanic. But I've seen him get soft locked behind the barrier a bunch with immune crystals and non movement. I had fun, I've completed it twice, and ran contest mode (did not complete) for the challenge of it. I wouldn't say it's the best raid, but in my top 3

3 通の返信I disagree with your opinion but respect the fact you openly shared it. I find the raids scenery beautiful and stunning... Story implications are phenomenal. Artificial difficulty is stupid and should neve rhave gotten this bad. 27 symbols? Thats stupid regardless. I've seen the weapons and they look Intresting. I've seen the armour and it looks... Well -blam!-. The Shaders look bad. It might be a raid I skip because of the following reasons. 1. I don't have a consistent raid team. 2. This raid legitimately looks like a chore. 3. If I had the time I would need to find a LFG team and knowing my luck that's not happening as last time I tried to have a sherpa teach me DSC or the new VOG it ended like always, notjing lost, nothing gained.

1 返信The Caretaker and the Boss are good. Jumping puzzle and obelisks are meh. Intro encounter and Exhibition are mind numbingly boring.

2 通の返信Nox Luminaにより編集済み: 3/14/2022 8:56:26 AMIt is a howling -blam!- shame about that armor, man... Horrible drip for Warlocks. At least I still have DSC. Other than that though, raids nice. Quick and easy.

51 通の返信Hated the Raid. Dull area, boring mechanics, and terrible looking armor. Beyond helping mates out with it, it's a pass from me. The Darkness faction deserved better.

19 通の返信Everyone’s going to find different things fun. I personally do not find this raid fun bc I enjoy the more casual experience and the lfg and social aspect of the game If I wanted to play memory game, I’d do that. But I log into destiny to shoot -blam!-, not to play guess who The raid is not hard, it’s just boring and tedious Let’s be honest, the only difficult thing in this game is hitting 5500 in comp, everything else is pretty easy

2 通の返信I personally like the Titan Chest piece, it almost looks like you've got hands moving inside of you, I like it.

5 通の返信Rainbine 9545により編集済み: 3/13/2022 2:48:05 PMIt’s a meh… for me at least I never liked raids with mechanics like these, but it does have some moments, but I kinda hate how every encounter is just kill this kill that Vog has areas were you had to sneak, had to claim and hold zones just felt a bit more fun Dsc was easy but that didn’t bring down any of the value of the loot or stuff we get, it was a nice and calming raid which I enjoyed Gos meh as well, since same reasons, too many mechanics I want raids that are more then just shooting carrying and surviving, since most of it is boring, longest attempt in competitive 12 hours Without around 7-9 hours and I was just tired of it //edit: this is not me asking for easy raids, just more raids that aren’t heavy mechanics and just killing stuff, I mean dsc, was by far the easiest but I enjoyed it more cause of how it was more then just kill everything You ran though space listening to deep stone lullaby where it’s everyone being quiet and enjoying it, the first encounter is running though a freezing area, then instead of killing a boss, your disabling a defence system Vog was too very enjoyable, the way you had to open the gates by forming a spire while keeping adds from killing you and reclaiming them, then it’s defending some spires, then it’s destroying oracle in order, all killing but have some fun reasons to focus on what your doing, then the gorgons and I won’t lie, each time I do it I can just feel my anxiety go crazy and it’s amazing Last wish, another enjoyable and fun raid, mechanics are quite easy to lean as well, but the views are amazing, then again almost all of the raids have that but this one beats all of them, from platforming to defending to even free loot if your just looking for it but if you do it, it a raid that you won’t forget Gos, this one I said I saw was similar to vow, both heavily mechanics but this one was a bit more team work then some of the others, from making a beam that connected to each other to getting the enlightenment buff to defeat shielded enemies, then the last boss was just gambit with a twist, not a bad raid if you ask me, just some times glitchy Vod, I said before this had its moments, from escort from the first encounter to platforming near the last, the views are amazing and the things that are said are as well, I guess what really brings it down for me is this, it’s just like gos too many mechanics that revolve around the raid I mean each encounter has something to do with the raid which are fine but most are killing I mean, if you made some of the platforming just jumping like the one with spinning cylinders just constantly moving instead of a button I would be fine with it, since it doesn’t remove any of the challenge or less areas to do with symbols I would have been okay, cause each area is the same just with more complicated stuff, the relic room and the first encounter are the same kill some sort of add to see the symbol the difference being that you need a relic to see them I don’t hate the raid, it’s okay, but it’s not my idea of a raid

28 通の返信I play to shoot enemies. Not memorize symbols. Another Spire of Stars fiasco. Seems like it anyway. That armour was butt ugly as well. I’m in no hurry to learn the mechanics for this one. Good that you enjoy it. Sucks that I don’t. For many this raid will be a 1 and done end game activity.

I liked it, even though it was a scorn raid. The area was awesome, bosses felt intimidating, mechanics were challenging. The symbols aren't too hard to remember, if you take the time to learn them. Generally, mechanic heavy raids are a nice break from the simple point and shoot bosses that we usually end up with. That said, there have been some crazy glitches in this raid. I imagine the coding for it is just nuts.

7 通の返信Seems like yet again a lot more people liked it then those who hated it but the people who hate it are way more vocal kinda like everything else in D2. Seems like if you look anywhere else it's all love for something that's all hate on the official Bungie site
