Explain to me how
I I’ve been a guardian for 300 -blam!- years and have to wait 10 mins for a super cool down. Yet a dude who has been wielding the light for 2 days can spam 5 blade barrages in 2 mins?

1 返信Ah. Good memories of the launch of destiny 1. Anyone else remember a particular guardian throwing a solar grenade, then a nova bomb, while tap firing thunderlord?

I don't think it's canon that it takes that long for energy to recoup. Guardians in game are extremely weak compared to how they appear to be in canon. It's what happens when you're more interested in making a try hard paradise instead of a power fantasy. I assume that guardians in actuality are more like the frames in warframe. They don't use their power frivolously but it's always there when you need it. For instance Ikora can fly, not just hover or glide, and is seen using multiple supers within seconds of each other, not just multiple supers, multiple classes. I suspect that most of the things done for balance in the game are not intended to be canon to the way guardians powers actually work.

3 通の返信I mean it’s a video game where we pray to a giant golf ball in the sky, one of our greatest threats is a bunch of worms the size of puppy, and the dwarf from game of thrones brought us back to life and we just start blindly killing what he tells us. Don’t think that far in to it lol.

Community: We're sick and tired of the champions, so give us something different. Bungie: Okay.. How about Hive that can wield Light? Community: That's different. Bungie: By the way, we're still going to give them the ability to spam the living daylights out of their powers just like the champions. Community: F U!

Not only that, her Nova bomb actually hit it's intended target, instead of taking a hard right on Know Your Role Blvd, hitting a random rock in the middle of an encounter. We have done the impossible - took out Savathun's Song, when a fireteam of 9 couldn't even get to the boss. We took out TWO hive gods, a fat drunk chongus, a SIVA infestation (take that, Iron Lords), made the Vex tremble in fear at the mere mention of our name, and now some annoying stick figure with a Johnny Cage/Goku complex. Talk about completely castrating our abilities.

So if you’ve played since launch you’ve been using the Light for about seven and a half years at this point. Also Hive are leet haxxorz. (΄◉◞౪◟◉｀)

3 通の返信Because the traveler wanted to make sure we were strong enough to protect him. This whole thing was literally the Traveler putting us against Savathun to see which one was the better choice. Not to mention the Hive are the rightful lighbearers, were hoarding light, AAANNNDDDD have been magicing for MILLENNIA, like I don’t know if you guys actually grasp how OLD the hive are.

1 返信Because the Hive have been refining magic for millennia. Even Thrall have Arc Claws. Human Guardians just sort of wing it with the Light.
