4 通の返信Alright, so I’m not denying that parts of the destiny community are toxic, but what is toxic about wanting people to know what to do? Don’t know what to do? Don’t join and look for a different group. It’s that easy.
-
2 通の返信Raiders have always been pretty toxic. Hence why less than 10% of players ever finish a raid.
-
5 通の返信I started out having really great raiding experiences but for some reason the groups got more and more dysfunctional, rude, or completely disorganized, until I just gave up. D2 has been even worse. Basically if you don’t have a dedicated group of people you know and work well together to raid with, you’re rolling the dice on a truly awful experience.

4 通の返信Yea, the majority of Destiny players have no real life, so they overcompensate for their shortcomings by being dicks while making it a full-time job, it kind of sucks that the developers feed into that by making outrageously difficult content where you have to spend endless hours grinding for whatever task, weapon, armor, mod, etc. The developers say, 'yea, but if/when you complete it you get a real sense of satisfaction' ... or something. yea, no, I get that by not buying into that mind-set, and accomplishing real world goals. You know, like jobs, education, family, all that boring stuff. Don't get me wrong, Destiny is a gorgeous game in many ways, but the "end-game content" , no thanks you can keep it, and pretend you're some kind of bigwig for wasting your life on such meaningless trivial stuff.

Friendly Advice. Simply wait a week or two. More people will know how to do it and honestly carrying people is so much easier. Sure being carried sounds kinda rude to some, but lets face it if you don't KWTD they can adapt and put you better in a role for the entire team to be successful. There was so many symbols and call outs I was loosing my mind. Shoot this and kill everything that comes here is my specialty. Running every Relic from past Raids was crazy fun.

Kingにより編集済み: 3/8/2022 5:28:07 PMI only understand that because I think they are in a hurry to complete it for the 24 (in this case, 48) hour emblem. Personally, I do not post ‘KWTD’ if I do not know every role in the raid perfectly 😂🤣 My biggest issue is “have clears”. Lmao 😁
-
Honestly just ignore them and make your own post. You will end up gathering like minded people that are enjoyable to play with and may even end up friends, so then you don't have to LFG anymore. At least, that's my experience.
-
1 返信Is it so hard to read a guide or watch a tutorial video? Look up the definition of “know”.
-
23 通の返信In my personal experience, if someone states KWTD or kick on their LFG post they usually don't know what to do themselves and they require others to carry them. Knowledgeable raiders are usually patient and understand LFG can sometimes mean you need to teach someone here and there and usually happy to do so. I'd rather teach someone the raid mechanics and have fun with it. That's why we're here, to have fun right?

12 通の返信
All I see for new raid is kwtd or kick Bro it’s been out less than a day
I honestly blame the designs of these things. Raids could be built to be a series of tough strikes - playable one at a time or in tandem. The mechanics are garbage anyways- another rune call out? Please. That’s what’s holding up access to these things? More thought needs to go into the accessibility of these things. It’s too easy to just throw down a bunch of broken mechanics and n heave it up to the community to organize themselves and figure it out. It should be a massive six man strike - and it should incorporate mechanics that benefit individuals when done correctly instead of the group.

4 通の返信Noctにより編集済み: 3/7/2022 11:41:36 PMContest was no joke so it made sense. KWTD makes sense now because all the vids are out so watch them then join. The call outs are a must know. Stop being lazy the rest of us had to learn the mechanics and made up call signs for the symbols. You literally have YouTubers making guides and you're too lazy to watch them lol. But that being said this raid without contest is a joke lol

2 通の返信Cheebrugerにより編集済み: 3/8/2022 2:18:28 AMKwtd is fine. Not everyone has time (or wants) to be accommodating towards inexperienced players, and inexperienced players aren't entitled to being taught. Both of which are fine. You can always watch a video, and message the host telling them you've seen videos but since you've never done it, you're going to need some help. If they say no, or just ignore you, move on and try someone else. Or just make a post yourself saying that you need to be taught.

2 通の返信Ya, watch a YouTube video. If you wanna do a blind run be my guest but I’m not teaching somebody every time I wanna do the raid. That’s not my responsibility.

12 通の返信InfernalDegree0により編集済み: 3/7/2022 6:16:06 PMDuring Contest Mode, yes, you must know what to do. Most teams trying to go for the "Day 1" emblem have been in the raid for at least 12+ hours and are looking for players that have the same level of experience. If you are going for a Contest Mode clear, you need a highly coordinated fireteam that can repeatedly do the raid mechanics flawlessly while maintaining massive DPS with little to no deaths. It takes many teams hours upon hours to reach that point to even have a chance at success. If a team loses a player, they can't afford to bring someone new in and struggle for hours because the new player doesn't understand the mechanics. That's not being "toxic af", that's a team looking to complete a Contest Mode raid with players on their same skill level with their same level of dedication (meaning they consistently played the raid since it came out). Now that Contest Mode is over, try finding a team, it should be much easier, or if you are having trouble finding one, make your own team. But for the love of Deej, don't go onto the forums to complain that someone won't carry you through a Day 1 raid, makes you look desperate. Edit: Just to put things into perspective, I was in the raid Day 1 for 23 hours (about 10 hours on the final boss), slept for about 5 hours, then got on and found a team on LFG that also had 20+ hours of experience and we got the final boss completed within about 4 hours. I was able to adapt to how their fireteam worked because I had 10 hours of previous experience in the encounter. If I was doing the encounter blind, I would have never been invited to the raid to begin with, and for good reason. Given that you have 8 minutes and 38 seconds of experience in the raid, I'm not surprised you had difficulties finding a team during Contest Mode.
-
5 通の返信mmmm, not sure that's community. The biggest problem I see with LFG Raids, is spending 20 minutes explaining mechanics of an encounter every time a new player is added.

6 通の返信as a day 1 raid player, kwtd or kick is completely understandable with contest mode on. lfg players are already enough pain, and most people are exhausted after playing for hours on end for the day 1 and have no energy to teach.

3 通の返信Actually. People are just pathetic. The whole point of a new raid is to figure it out for yourself. But people don't actually want to figure things out, they want the rewards. Claiming to teach someone or someone wanting to be taught on day one is pathetic. Watching someone else figure out the raid and then making a post for people to kwtd is just sad. Go in blind and figure it out. Don't expect someone to teach you, and don't expect everyone to know what to do. Like I said, most people just want to bypass whatever obstacle they can to get rewards. Horrible way to play a game, more of a horrible way to go through life.
