Iron Banner Lighthouse idea
Iron Banner is supposed to be the competitive form of a 6v6. Sometimes it doesn’t feel like it. Trials definitely has better loot and is more rewarding for teams of 3. I think Bungie should have something similar to the lighthouse for IB. Let us get a team of 6 together and fight it out. If our team of 6 can get to 7 wins etc. then Saladin should take us to Felwinter peak to open a Iron Lord cheat or something. I think since this event is semi-rare, it needs something like this to keep it fresh. D1 Iron Banner was exciting, it currently feels kinda bleh. I think this would be a cool concept and something fairly easy that could be added into the game.

10 通の返信D1 Iron Banner had... I don't know, it just felt [i]better[/i], somehow. I never missed an IB in D1...[i][b]unless it was Rift...[/b][/i]I hated Rift for some reason. But yeah, I'd always slap on my IB ship, armor, weapons, shaders, and emblem. It really was an event to look forward to each time it came around.

What a terrible idea.. it needs an overhaul.. the gane mode is old.. the loots been the same for top long.. and people like yourself think it's something more then just another qp mode but with light enabled lol 😆

2 通の返信The goal should be to get mercied 7 times in a row. Only then you finally get to claim the dreaded title of "Iron lagger". Gilding the title requires one to rage quit 7 times in every map.

5 通の返信Iron banner would be played even less with a trials style system. Trials lost players rapidly each week this season, and it happened pretty early on. Trials will lose players even earlier next season with only 2 potential weapons to farm. I have never played trials even once and I doubt I’d play iron banner if it’s put in place.

2 通の返信Having permanent flamed ornaments of different sets every year would seem like a worthy thing to put in there. Even putting retired guns would be good too.

3 通の返信That would definitely be a good way to update IB and give a similar "eventful" feel like what Trials has. That and a vendor refresh would give people something to look forward to/shoot for and the Felwinter Peak thing seems like it was basically meant to be. It's already the perfect setup. I don't know if I'm remembering correctly because its been so long but that room from D1 that had the giant Iron Lord Statues in it could be the perfect location. Or it could be somewhere else as long as there was fire.
