Shouldn’t the crucible have an element of “fun”?

Using meta weapons - not fun. Having to play my -blam!- off to even be close to a 1 kd - not fun. Can’t use any weapons I like because they’re literal poop compared to guilded flawless aholes running around shotgunning everyone - not fun. Doing good for 3/4 of a game and then getting supered 7 times in a row - not fun. 6v6... shoot at someone in front of you, get killed by someone else - not fun. I know what some people will say.. git gud lol. I get it, I don’t like it but I get it — if I literally never stopped running, only used an OP weapon, and avoided capturing a zone or engaging someone for the good of the team I’d be gud. But I’d also be a Destiny troll because gud isn’t a word and neither is git. I’m only saying this to continue the current angst regarding the sh!!show.
Bungie should have two days a week where no special weapons are allowed. The population of tryhards would drop to 0 on those days.
Edit: if PvP is truly just a preparation for pve, shouldn’t it be reflective of pve? I mean who uses chaperone in pve? No one. No one who’s done a grandmaster nightfall this week has used chaperone. So why is it good? I can use any one of 5 fusion rifles I have plus so much more with heavy for a nightfall but when I play pvp I have to use a main ingredient? Doesn’t make sense since main ingredient sucks on grandmaster nightfalls.
