I hate crucible with a passion. I only play it for the bounties. I get put against people who's KD is like 3x mine and spawn in front of them while they are on a roll. I don't get why you don't take people on the winning team and spread them on the losing team to equal it out. I feel like I shouldn't get put against people with Flawless 3 when I've only ever gotten carried once. Like how does that much?

10 通の返信So what do you propose? Sbmm? Which is gonna make queue times longer than they are now, as well as making every game a sweat fest since you have to go up against players of your skill? If you don't like pvp, don't play it. If you say matchmaking is the reason you don't like it, that's fine, but 100s of thousands of people play pvp, so they gotta be doing something right.

1 返信Am I the only guy who loves pvp? Like playing IB solo and coming against a six stack?? Even in general qp I like playing against sweats who roam the map and don’t even cap because they know 4 players shooting 1 guy will always get them the kill. Maybe am just weird

That's how skill based matchmaking works. It noticed that you are a good player, and so it punishes you like that. The reason for your experience is sbmm. THEY SHOULD REMOVE THE SBMM AND LET MATCHMAKING TO BE RANDOM!

1 返信They don’t give a fuk about their shitty pvp. Can’t count how many times we have ran into extremely laggy matches with people glitching all over the place.
-
1 返信It was never this bad in D1. Mercy happened less often and there were more close matches. Now it’s a pendulum. Your team gets mercied, then you curb stomp the other team and they get mercied… back and forth. It’s a sign of a pathetically bad matchmaking system.

What PVP? Anyone is still playing this trash mode? There is a good potential for gambit and I plan to play that in Witch. PvP is dead end for any fun in Destiny at this point… maybe in the future. Anyway Witch looks awesome from PVE end point if view and that’s where I am heading.

10 通の返信I’m a pvp player. It sucks how much potential this pvp has and they’re just throwing it down and -blam!- it up terribly. Love this game but this is one of the worst pvp games I’ve played in a long time….it’s super sad when they made a masterpiece pvp game like halo and than you see this pvp and can’t help but cry a little.

3 通の返信As long as it remains a one shot fest and 6v6 on maps that can’t properly accommodate 6v6, it will never change. Those are the real issues. Special weapon ammo changes won’t make enough of a difference.

Of all the PvP games I've played, this is the least enjoyable. Take away the rewards, I wouldn't step foot in there. You aren't alone playing just for bounties and believe it or not Bungie knows it. It's why so little effort goes into PvP, they know most of the money coming in isn't from the PvP draw.

4 通の返信Pvp is just a toxic environment filled with toxic players. I stayed away from it all season except the last couple of days to do a few ib bounties, only to be reminded why i stayed away. Its truly is not worth the experience.
-
14 通の返信It won't change because most people are like you, they only play it for the bounties, the catalysts or weapons. If Bungie puts a matchmaking based on skill, all the real PvP players won't be enough to justify the existence of this mode. People like you, or me, or most of those you meet in PvP, are just cannon fodder for the real PvP players, to keep them playing. They need enough easy target, and that's why they'll always match you with them, and put PvP requirement in everything.

Radar and noobs weapons enables corny, and boring play style. Anyone can radar camp lanes with special/HC weapons… That’s why I choose to play other pvp games that doesn’t encourage this style of play. And ppl want to know why matchmaking sucks? It’s cuz a lot of destiny players are here ONLY for pve… I rather play paladins over destiny pvp 😂…. Funny enough the que times are far shorter

8 通の返信
I hate crucible with a passion. I only play it for the bounties.
Yes, lets cater to the players that hate the mode, spend as little time as possible in there, and only do it for a certain purpose instead of playing because they actually like it, sounds like a great idea. Who cares if the people who are above average, live in sparsely populated areas of the world, or the ones who for what ever reason cannot play during the peak hours for their region gets longer queue times and a worse connection quality, just get SBMM in there to make sure everybody has less available players they can be matched with so that the guy who hates the mode and only occasionally plays has an easier time. 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️

1 返信They can also remove radar to make it so the other players don't know your location 100% of the time

it's not hard to get a k/d 3x yours since, to be brutally honest, your k/d is not something to write home about. If you're going to complain, why not just get a team of your own - that's what I did. Do I get carried, absolutely. Do I put in the effort to improve, and stick to my strengths (team shooting) absolutely. I am not ashamed to admit it. But the one difference is I don't blame the game if I have my own shortcomings. If we were both at a career 1.5 k/d+, then we'd both have arguments for how bad PvP was, but we're not.
-
Bungie should offer better incentives for participating in PvP, similarly like in D1 with crucible specific weapons and with interesting rolls (i.e. Eyasluna in D1). I would grind PvP for hours for that Eyasluna. And with a winning streak better loot & better rolls should drop.

4 通の返信4 mil Chronos Zen sold. You can tell. Crouch, wait three seconds then crouch walk slowly to a lane. You will hear prefire! Lag is so bad we there's people you cannot kill, too. We need same cheat detector as Warframe then ban IP address. As soon as Chronus got high sales PvP got horrible! Also, report! Block. Show video clips, too, when you report in forums. PC is pretty cleaned up. Console, not so much.

I see players with 4.0 K.D’s and very few times others with 7.0. As soon as you start ranking on them, they immediately leave the game. Don’t be fooled by these high K.D players, they farm their stats when games are easy and leave as soon as they die once or twice. As for the rest of your experience, I highly suggest you try to improve. Idk what world you think you live in but any multiplayer game you play right now will always have someone better than you, even if the game is hardcore skill matchmaking, someone has to lose and someone has to win. You guys are delusional thinking you will win every game or have close games just because of matchmaking. Just like those K.D farmers, I could have a low K.D because I enjoy using off meta stuff but will wreck the second I decide to actually try. Its literally impossible to have a perfect matchmaking so what can you do? “Git gud”. I got good, that way my games are always easy. Are there games that just feel impossible to beat? Well yeah you are in a team with 5 other random strangers that may be there to win or complete bounties. I know I cant win every single game and I know there will always be someone better than me but that doesn’t stop me from improving, adapting and overcoming all these players. The second you decide to worry about yourself instead of those around you, thats when your pvp experience will improve.
