So why have you taken a game that was a joy to play and turned it into the mind numbing grind and mod fest......90+ Dares to achieve rank 16 with xur just how much time do you think the average gamer (with a life) has got on their hands? Now you want to throw mods and aspects etc into the mix, you're ripping the heart out of the game for many people! You've taken a lot of us for mugs over the past 12 months or so, you took away weapons that were hard won only to make us grind again for poorly reskinned editions. I always pre-ordered this game having invested around eight years playing this game, but not so with the witch queen. I'm a little sick of being served up disappointment after disappointment. So is it going to be same crap different wrapper??

I literally hope witch Queen a dlc with less content than bl flops big time just so a company that invested millions has to step in an be like look listen to the community not whining streamers that want best content for elites an locked off for casuals so they feel special the game has become a boring grind fest .and If your not using a broken build to do content it's mind numbingly annoying I like to sit and watch my old vids that iv saved on steam from years ago when the game was fun and you could spam supers in pve one after another like the trailers of the game 😆

3 通の返信I'm confused by this rant of a post. I'm assuming your main complaint is getting to Rank 16 in Dares of Eternity, but then you shift the post to talking about mods and aspects. Let's dissect this post: 1. Dares of Eternity: Yes, there is a grind associated, but this does not need to be done in a single play session. If you are trying to rush to get it done in the next week, then I get your frustration, but we have had this game mode for 2 months now, plenty of time for even the casual gamer to get it done. While I completely understand I play more than the average person, I've been able to reset Xur's rank 3 times and likely to reset a 4th time before Witch Queen. I may have grinded the game mode on one or two occasions, but most of this reputation was just playing a few games each day to get Starhorse bounties done. You don't need to burn yourself out trying to get all 16 ranks complete in a single play session. Also keep in mind, this isn't going away with Witch Queen and if they don't reset Xur's rank, you can continue to play the game mode to get the catalyst over time. 2. Mods and Aspects: This is where you start to completely lose me. Is your complaint that mods and aspects are too confusing/complicated to use because they offer a wide variety of options to play? Especially after the Void 3.0 announcement, it is clear we are moving in a direction that offers a ton of customizability in gameplay that offers significantly more ways to create character builds to play how you want to play. I can't imagine why you would see this as a bad thing. 3. Sunsetting bad: "you took away weapons that were hard won". No, they didn't. You still have your Recluse or Mountaintop or whatever sunset weapon you are talking about. They have made those weapons unusable for endgame content while allowing them to still be usable in older/casual activities. With that said, I don't think anyone enjoyed having Mountaintop/Recluse permanently glued to their inventory for 2 years straight, it is always better to have a rotating meta that encourages playing the game to get new and exciting loot. Weapon crafting is not a reskin, it is a way to get the exact roll you want and invest in weapons you like to use. 4. You're "leaving": If Witch Queen is the hill you want to die on, I think you don't have the right priorities when playing this game. It sounds like you would be content with the same weapons and same builds over the course of years, which is not how a game like Destiny is meant to be played. I find it hard to believe you thoroughly enjoyed the first 7 years of the franchise, but Witch Queen is the last straw.

6 通の返信Sweet Lew 88により編集済み: 2/12/2022 4:48:10 PMExotics are for casuals, they tend to be easier to get than catalysts, which are for hardcore players. Catalysts are meant to be grindy to earn and unlock. Good thing catalysts aren't needed to beat the game, so casuals don't really need them. If you want them, prepare to grind. Remember errianas vow catalyst? 100-400 match made activities? Mida multi tool, 5500 glory and win a match?

Is dares boring? I think so, very boring after the 1st 5 runs or so. But anyone can reset xur even if they have a life like you say. Mode is not going anywhere anytime soon. So you can do 2 dares daily ( even a life person like yourself can spare 20 minutes a day) and you will have it in 2-3 months max rank. No need to rush it unless you really want that forerunner catalyst.
-
Its just one catalyst and there's nothing wrong with a super grind for something here and there. It's been interesting to see how many people have an absurd number of Dares runs. I think the highest I've seen so far is like 358. And its cool because a lot of the people that got the catalyst quick probably just decided that this was going to be one of the big grinds they would do and its not like they play the game like that all the time. DOE will also be here all year so you'll have plenty of time to get the catalyst.

5 通の返信DarkMoonWolf666により編集済み: 2/12/2022 9:20:34 AMThe game was always a grind...since vanilla D1 Not sure why you complain about grind in a looter game 😂 Oh BTW dares isn't going away and your rank won't reset... Also dares came out when? Mid december? And WQ end of february...so 2 month The i"I have a life " excuses ..man that need to be stop to be used as a crutch in this forum....average gamer nowadays is 30 year old with kids and a job....lots of player have a life but still play and complete the biggest challenge inside the game ... And lastly ...why you posting this? Why you think anyone care ? Post this on your clan discord or whatever they use.... P.s whenever you play you do regular strike and patrols....its not the fault you use your time poorly

2 通の返信you enjoyed the game before, you obviously were not around for the REAL grind fest that was D1 or the beginning's of D2 before Bungie catered to weak minded New Lights. I'd rather grind out DoE than ever do the Izanagi's grind again. Considering how much time they gave you to complete the ranks, it's fairly easy to do. Even with having a life and other commitments, running 3 a day, which just about 45 minutes with matchmaking and loading times, it would take you less than a month. Or, you can do what I did, play with friends and all the trash talking made the time fly by really quick. Hour a day, and we were done before we knew it
-
It's a difficult task to strike a balance that will satisfy those that play 2 hours a week versus those that play 20 hours a week. What's just right for one is done too quick for the other or what is just right for the other is never ending for the one.

8 通の返信Realised I was close to the splicer seal, I'm at 9/10 I just need to fully unlock the servitor vendor, so I look, I need just nodes totalling 3200 decrypted data, the only source is the event which rewards 55 data, so I need to run 65 events to finish the seal, yeah but no thankyou, stick it.

3 通の返信Oh look, it’s our daily “I’m done with Destiny, not buying Witch Queen post”. I’ll see you on the 22nd when you’re here complaining about long queue times and how you want a refund.
-
I mean Witch Queen isn’t worth preordering really. If you know ur gonna play it then go for it. If not, they’ve had two subpar expansions in the past two years so their track record for quality content is spotty at best
-
1 返信Wq will be pretty much the same as bl, just with updated light subclasses instead of stasis.
-
There's no rush...its not being removed when WQ drops. And every gamer has a life. Dead people can't play video games. I don't play every day and I got it done in about 6-8 weeks, just doing a handful at a time.. Shrug..

I hit my 4th reset right before my 300th clear of dares. So it definitely doesn’t take 90+ to hit rank 16. (Feel free to check that with charlemange :) ) but time wise isn’t much or any more time consuming than gambit/crucible matches. Which also generally last 10-12 minutes (I say generally in place of lockouts or super stacked teams) In my sarcastic opinion, people don’t like it because progression requires wait for it, completing objectives. I know I had to say it, objectives (scary word) lol I say this in jest but I’ve seen what the blueberry population has trouble with (cough following waypoints clearly marked on screen) In all reality though I’m over season rank 720 and I work a full time job as a supervisor for a major retailer. Gotta make use of those activity streaks :) and honestly dares has a pile of good weapons with all goods rolls and the end chest has given me some pretty good weapon rolls on some neat weapons that aren’t in the world pool. Oh while I’m here, if you didn’t already know, save your paraversal hauls for next season, just alittle xp bonus to kick off at the start of next season :) I saved 43 so far this week.

You are telling me that this time window isnt vast enough for the average gamer? You cant be this dim. Or the actual problem You are forcing yourself to grind this asap and projecting this notion that bungie is saying do all of this by the end of the week or its going away? Either way, you played yourself. Stop making it about other players. Its about you and your problems.

2 通の返信Hah! I took an extended break starting in Season of the Hunt and came back during Season of the Lost. Splicer was fun, but Chosen, ugh... You do (the same three) strikes to get 14 Cabal Gold each. You use 14 Cabal Gold to slot the hammer. You do a "battleground" strike to add one hammer charge. You need 3 hammer charges to get a focused engram for a 50/50 shot at the weapon you want. So that's six playlist strikes (3 Vanguard, 3 Battlegrounds) to get ONE Tier 2 focus for the weapon you want to grind, but you get the other one EVERY TIME. (Wanted Brass Attacks sidearm, got the SMG) 25-30 charges later, you realize you never got it from the Season Pass so it isn't in your loot pool, so you can't get it anyway, much less grind for the roll you want. Super fun!
