I recently purchased a PC. I was trying to link my Xbox account to my steam account, but accidentally selected my steam account as the primary one. So, I lost my guardian. I had to de-link my accounts in order to get my guardian back, but now I have the 90 day wait of course. Just wondering if it was possible to revert this with Bungie's help, or if I am just out of luck.

Hi there. Unfortunately Bungie is not able to help with this. The 90-day lockout is a security measure to help prevent fraud and activities that could compromise a player's account(s). There are no exceptions.
If the incorrect set of characters have been set as the active Cross Save players will need to disable Cross Save, wait the full 90 day deactivation period, and re-enable Cross Save with the correct account set as active.

If players disable their Cross Save for any reason they will have to wait out the 90-day lockout before they can enable Cross Save again. There are no exceptions to this policy.
https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/360049498031-Destiny-2-Cross-Save-Guide

Nope. The 90 day cooldown period from deactivating cross save is there for a reason and Bungie will not remove it for you for ANY reason. Do a search for "Cross save issues" on Bungie.net or the Destiny app to bring up a help guide which covers this. Look.. I know it is a problem but too many times Bungie has gone out of their way to help people with cross save issues and people abused this forcing Bungie to stop helping all players with any cross save issues.
