I see ONE playstation exclusive gun, mission, quest, strike, pvp map, or even a gambit map. Im done.
Title basically. I lived through the bullshit that was D1 as well as D2Y1 and it was awful. You'd see all these good guns or cool missions and have to wait a year to experience them. But im finally drawing my line in the sand. Playstations past of forcing exclusives for Destiny and their current history of stopping crossplay doesnt really sell me on your tweet about uniting friends around the world. I saw the FAQ btw still putting this out here.

27 通の返信I've got 500 silver that says they announce 6 month to a year exclusivity on a dungeon or remastered D1 raid at E3. Most likely along side a special Destiny edition PS5 that will release holiday of 2022.

They make some of the best single player games out there, but I dont want to pay the same price for a game and get less because of the platform I'm playing it on.

Hard to give Sony the benefit of the doubt on this on this one. We had exclusive content up through Forsaken and that is gonna be real shitty to have to go back to. I give it until next season for exclusive cosmetics and next year for gear/content. "Q. Will any announced seasons, events, packs, or expansions be changed or impacted by Bungie becoming part of PlayStation? No. Bungie retains full creative independence for our games and our community. Our plans for the Light and Dark Saga are unchanged, all the way through The Final Shape in 2024." I can already see "The season 16 cosmetics were not announced at the time this statement was made." Tweets being made.

The only way the game has a chance to improve is if Sony takes complete control. And please for the love of god don't let Bungie "help" in other games, Sony. Just no. Maybe the art team, but that's it. I don't want this absolute cancerous dumpster fire in any other upcoming or existing games.

7 通の返信I don't care what they said, Sony has a history of not letting studios stay independent and nobody acquires a company like Bungie for 3.6 billion dollars to not control them and use them as they so please. I do not see this going well and many other big names and companies have voiced an equal amount of concern. Whats also concerning is the amount of big buys happening right now. Its only January and we've had Take Two/Zynga, Microsoft/Activision-Blizzard, and now this. I was already worried about the AAA industry and its direction and now I just dont even know if I should be cautiously optimistic or more worried.

I doubt they'll get more new PS players than they'll loose on Xbox + PC when they draw the bottom line. Not in this phase of the game's lifecycle anyway.

Not for WQ maybe not Lightfall etc. But if y’all think there won’t be some exclusives coming out of 3.6 billion dollar deal so close to the Activision deal…. I have some premier swamp land I’d like to sell you.

1 返信I don't see exclusive anytime soon. However, I can see after many players purchased Witch Queen and it released that Bungie will put the whole game on the upcoming Playstation "Spartacus" (aka Gamepass) for free. I'm thinking March or April 2022.

7 通の返信Good I hope PlayStation makes destiny strictly exclusive to PlayStation. Like how halo is to Xbox And I play on Xbox and wouldn’t care if PlayStation did that.

2 通の返信Their wording was specific. None of that for the ALREADY announced DLC for the game. They could have said NEVER. But they specifically said not for the already announced stuff. Guess you'll quit after the final shape dlc then.

2 通の返信What if it was a timed exclusive, no longer than say... One month or two? Cuz, Sony needs SOMETHING to make their acquisition of Bungie worth something. You don't buy a studio to make things for others first. Otherwise why bother owning it?

4 通の返信YAWN! Hi, Xbox player here. Great job supporting Bungie. Just like in D1 when PS has exclusive content…. You can’t miss what you didn’t have… Sony money is going to improve things for all players. If PS get a few exclusives for it I support it whole heartedly. Games companies ceased to be just about the games a long time ago. It’s a business…. If someone came along and wanted to buy your business for BILLIONS are you going to turn that down?…. Yeah… like -blam!- you will … LOL Anyway… Bungie obviously doesn’t need your money so please do move on but we all know your “threat” is hollow.
