You have 100000 kills between shotguns and handcannons and less then 2000 on anything else, maybe stop crutching and complaining about everything that isn’t what you’re using
How is it a crutch if it takes skill? I always use this stuff it’s fun to me. I also snipe a LOT now.

I’ve been sniping more recently, and I’m good at it. I sent you a clip from a recent stream as proof that I’m not blowing wind because of how long I only shotgunned.
That doesn’t mean I crutch them. A crutch means I need it to walk, I only use what I find fun. I used shotty, a 140 and arc staff through the dark days of stasis.
Ahh yes nothing takes skill but the guns you’re using, you’re right. Anyone can say their guns take skill and other peoples don’t, that’s not an argument
I don’t use pulses, they take skill, I don’t use scouts, they’re low risk but take skill to play around CQB weapons on close maps with.
No time to explain? Easy gun that takes little skill I still use it.
Arb bolts? Revert the buff I’ve used them for 6 years.
No bias here, I just call out cheese.
Pellet shotguns take movement and game awareness. The range is like 7m max. And even then you have to track players in CQB situations, not easy against above average players for most.
Slugs have too much range for the movement in the game.
Fusions have too fast of a charge time for the range they have. They play like heavy ammo
Snipers take aiming skill and awareness, just not as much awareness
You don’t have to get close like you do with pellets when using other guns. For consistent kill you have to be within 6m, melee range. For that play to be worth while doing so without dying most of the time. So they’re completely fine and do take skill to get in and out of tight situations.
Again though you can say the downsides to any gun that doesn’t make it take skill. Bows and fusions have charge time. Pellet shotguns you have to aim for the head. Dmt has a slow fire rate
Dmt does NOT have a slow fire rate.
Also, I’m explaining what you need to do to get kills with a shotgun.
A fusion had a charge time, that is faster than almost all primary TTKs, and kills to the BODY from up to 23 M. Because fusions allow you to play fat back because of this range, missing isn’t as big of a deal outside of when you REALLY ape someone with anything other than a rapid fire. Rapid fires are extra dumb. The best counter to fusions is peek shooting (don’t be dumb and don’t stand in the lane with a fusion and this won’t happen) or sniping them. Again, I don’t like counting snipers as a counter because that’s EXTREMELY inaccessible to casuals and most gamers. Not everyone can do what I did in that clip to fusion and linear maiming scrubs.
A pellet shotgun kills from 6-7 at the most, kills you for missing, requires you to get into kissing distance because of the aforementioned range, and on top of that has consistency issues. Then this is all happening in a game with sidearms and SMGs, that MELT in close fights without much of a demand for precision. Shotgunning is much harder than using a fusion for most gamers. True vanguard and his “genius”🤦♂️, made a video saying that “my 6 year old can shotgun and not fusion.” Most gamers aren’t 6 year olds who are going to have trouble learning the concept of a charge time, most people on this game are 12-13 and older. Fusions are better for anyone who posses a brain capable of holding down a button upon a visual que instead of clicking it.
