I’m doing the master lost sector, and the champions keep teleporting. Even though I’m using the sword lunge ability, I hit them once, and they immediately teleport to the other side of the room. I honestly wanted to cuss out bungie, because this has been an issue for several seasons now.
Edit: Why do you guys keep mentioning bows? I’m using an auto rifle for the anti barrier champions. You would have to be fool to use two weapons that use primary ammo in end game content.

Overload Bow is much better for Overload Champs because it takes only 1 shot to disable them. I don't know why they decided that Swords needed multiple strikes, but there you have it. As for Anti-Barrier, run Arbalest instead. It breaks all shields, which makes Match Game trivial and also benefits from Particle Deconstructor. Then run a Linear in your heavy slot. I've been using this loadout to Solo Lost Sectors, and can usually clear them on the first attempt (I main Hunter and use Celestial GG to delete Champs or Bosses). The only time I needed a reset was on the Europa LS where the Barrier Servitor can camp behind a wall and make the Overload Captain immune. That was a fun time.

Yes, use a bow at range, stun and kill. Then stop moaning cause the method you are doing is inferior to the other in this situation.

Yeah i would recommend bows, and if its the legend lost sector you can burst kill the barrier champs before they put their shields up with a fusion, mainly sleeper and 1k. Or just use arbalest and a bow since they both one shot stun their respective champions

2 通の返信Shipmateにより編集済み: 1/22/2022 3:38:47 PMHow about you use a bow with arrbalast or Erianas vow or divinity and not being toxic to people just trying to help you.

2 通の返信The Last Guardianにより編集済み: 1/21/2022 11:49:22 AMHave you tried shooting them with an overload mod/weapon? You mention people are fools for using two primary weapons, yet you're using an auto for anti-barrier when there is something called Arbalest that is the best weapon in the game right now. Who's the fool again? #worksmarternotharder

I've cleared every GM this season except Proving Grounds using double primary... I've also cleared every LS, Master and Legend, using double primary... You can't clear a master lost sector, refuse to use double primary.... and I'm the fool? Lol if not using double primary is the hill you want to die on then use Arbalest and a bow, bows are more constant than swords and don't require you to stand next to the champion. Arbalest is also busted this season. If you continue to struggle with that loadout then maybe it's not the champions fault you can't clear a Master LS.

Your edit is really naive. How can you call those succeding fools, if you are struggling, and theyre beating the content with bows? You can run all the lost sectors using double primary. The aoe on bows like le monarque and ticuus keep overloads permanently stunned. Because they do damage over time. We have particle decon for our linears that can destroy champs and the bosses in a few shots. If youre sleeping on bows, youre doing it wrong.

I would have never used a sword for overload. Like some other post say it's dumb for double primary but I dont mind. Thats why I have heavy and just rely on it. I have my auto for anti-barrier, le monarque for overload, and pulse for unstoppable and I do just fine with those. Next season being scouts for anti and bow. I won't even pick bow but rather scouts. Just gotta find one worth relying on

3 通の返信I always run a bow and sword, stun them with the bow then move in and wreck them with the sword.

1 返信Teleporting wouldn't be an issue if they actually got stunned with the appropriate weapon. If there are 4 arrows sticking out of it, there should be no reason it continues to come after me like Jason from Friday the 13th

3 通の返信Champions are garbage, especially overloads, in my opinion. I’m sure plenty assume I’m on the BDF but -blam!- champions. They need some rework or something. I get why they were added but they just feel like nuisances more than interesting mechanics.

Enochuaにより編集済み: 1/21/2022 11:44:45 AMBows with explosive arrows actually stop them from teleporting even after stun wears off. It’s really sad you don’t know that. You literally only need a bow with explosive arrows. You don’t even need to switch to a heavy weapon. Just keep spamming them with arrows.

Yeah, champions are a symptom of lazy game design. Best way to deal with them is to use a bow and the overload bow mod. Run either with Arbalest for anti-barrier, and a linear fusion legendary heavy. You could still run anti-barrier auto in primary slot and bow in secondary slot, and use Gjallarhorn. Stun overload with bow then immediately switch to rocket. Gjallarhorn with the catalyst will finish off an overload champion with a single rocket (or near death) even on Master level.

2 通の返信The infuriating part is where you can’t stun them again for several seconds while they get to walk around shooting you. Also, the heavy attack of caster frame swords never stuns them. The mod costs 6 energy and a sword with a ranged heavy attack can’t be used to stun them. 😐 … just … whatever with these f——ers. and Bungie seems to treat it as though them being broken is a feature, not a bug.
