Is it just me or is the fun of playing crucible missing. We used to look forward to playing say IB for instance but now it just feels like a grind. Four of my friends quit D2 for the same reason. Siting a lack of fun. Getting run over by sweaty players running shotties and Palindrome perpetually. My kids used to love playing Destiny with us too, they have completely stopped playing as well. Connection based is screwing up the fun factor for lesser skilled players.

Funny, people were saying the same thing about skill based. And the only people complaining are the ones who don't put forth the effort to make changes within themselves.

Don’t you mean “skilled based matchmaking”? Control has it. No one can tell me otherwise because every time I play control I have to carry my team against fireteams of 2 or 3 players, sometimes even multiple fireteams in one team. Not fun. I get the blueberries that just got the game, and have the audacity to play crucible. Come on now. Team balancing should only be competitive, oh wait a dead playlist because even there you get random people from different ranks

Not just you. Around 3/4 of the way through the D1 lifespan, all crucible matches became more chore than fun. D2 did nothing but worsen an already sick game mode.

Bungie couldn't make a balanced PvP mode, even if their lives depended on it...God knows they've been trying for years.

Matchmaking is just depressing ... I love PVP, even if am real bad at it. So pls dont tell me to "get good", I try but cant ... I d like to have fun with player my lvl (wich sometime happens so its possible ...) and not beeing wrecked 24/24 by some 4 times better than I, so good they are that I just feel humiliated and sad playing instead of enjoying my time... Thanks Bungie for this experience.
