When you talk about Trials players will say it is only for the best of the best. Git gud!
But how?
There is no crucible game mode to “git gud”. Everything is cbmm? I have like a 1.21 kd and I match up against players with around a 2 kd or higher al the time. 2 days ago I played a team that all had like an avg of 3 kd. one even had a 5+ kd and all we got was spawn killed the whole game? Yesterday I played against a team with a guy that had 6.64 overall kd. Like why?
We definitely need some crucible game modes that are based on an equal kind of skill level because the way it is now it just isn’t fun to play.

As bad as it sounds, you do get better playing against players who are better than you. Is fustrating but in the long run it does work! My overall KD took an absolute fisting whilst I did it this way but Ive definitely improved! I'm not an amazing player by any means but if you ever just wanna practice feel free to add me and we can do private matches! Sometimes having the chance to familiarise yourself with maps and weapons without the added pressure of constant death can help!

21 通の返信Baptism under fire is the best way to learn. No hand holding, no coddling - if you want "git gud" you have to play against "gud" players. Anything else is just staying stagnant playing against people of similar skills which only makes you good at killing people just as bad/good as you

It's pretty much been some easy, go-to advice since D1, with noticeably higher rates of success than failure from what I've seen. And you may even make a friend or two while you're at it. Also, if you end up being in a rare lobby that someone else speedran like they were going for a world's first, solo, day 1 raid belt, don't hesitate to ask them for advice if you think you should.

Play rumble. It is brutal but from a learning standpoint I feel that control is useless because people are forming teams for it. Rumble will force you to move quickly and kill quickly. Be warned though that some people will use some annoying load outs but it is what it is.

michaelにより編集済み: 1/16/2022 7:44:22 PMA game where you can consistently match players near your skill level is essential in any game with a skillgap, even with one as small as destiny's. A mode designed around improving would definitely be good for PvP and the player experience. Yes, there is some merit to the trial by fire argument. It's what I did. It took me like 2 years of getting stomped before I was above average at this game and then another year of fine tuning to get where I am now. But the argument falls short when you think about the fact that destiny is not a PvP game. Most people dont care about improving, they just want to get bounties or a quest done. When they are in PvP for a specific task and cant get it done because the matchmaking is so bad, I can see where the complaints arise. As easy as it is to just tell people to get good, this doesn't help anyone. All it does is turn people away from the game because they realize that its just gatekeepy elitists with weird egos. There needs to be a more clear pipeline to getting good in this game.

A_moにより編集済み: 1/16/2022 11:13:08 PMThose modes are fine as long as what you're saying applies to everyone. There shouldn't be a difference between a 4.0 player playing a 2.0 and a 2.0 playing a 1.0. But that's not usually how it ends up working. Should definitely have some kind of practice/casual mode though.

3 通の返信Pretty sure survival and elim have sbmm, but imo the best way to improve is to play players better than yourself, even though it might be demoralizing.
