Orb Generation as a mod? Are you KIDDING?
Horrible idea. Just thought I would throw that out there... its already a stretch getting current mods to my liking... Now you want me to put a orb mod on? No bueno...

Using any armor mod slot is not going to be good news any way it gets spun! You have a max 10, and no matter how many slots are present, yes I’m talking about Adept, you still have only max 10! They will either spend a slot for free, now you have 1 less slot: or, price the mods so you are unable to generate orbs without losing something valuable. TLDR: Super Nerf, period…

I think the orb change is a positive if something like I describe below comes with the weapon crafting… You want to create your god roll (insert weapon name here). You have it drop but with 1 of the 9 options that make up a weapon that would make up your god roll. (2x barrels/scopes, 2x mag perks, 2x column 1 2x column 2 and the masterwork perk we have now) You go to where you craft the weapon and you ‘sacrifice’ that weapon to start your god roll and in doing so, you take 1 perk from the sacrificed weapon and it is on your weapon ‘frame’ (kill clip in column 2 for example). That’s were you start ‘crafting’. With each drop of said weapon, you can sacrifice it and take 1 perk from it and add it to you frame until your frame is complete. Then your grind begins for true mastery. You use the basic frame with no perks unlocked (just like D1). Once you have all the perks unlocked, it becomes masterworked. This means the stats bump up just like on Adept weapons right now (plus 2/5 to things like range, stability etc as well as the plus 10 to the masterwork option we have now) Hope this made sense. Ask questions if you want clarity on anything.

1 返信Maybe weapon crafting will allow building orb generation into crafted weapons. Sadly, this will not be feasible to add to your... [i]old[/i] weapons. This will totally not be sunsetting, but a [i]technical limitation that they sincerely wish they could get around[/i].

1 返信All these Mods, especially the Orb changes, are making Guardian builds tedious and annoying. The fun factor of the game is dropping fast and it's starting to feel more like a job.

People who play PVP would more likely rather use targeting mods and ammo finders. That also means you really need to do more GoA to get more artifice armors pieces for that extra mod socket. Bungie going to do these choices to make us use those orb-making mods: 1 - Buff ammo finder mods to where you don't need two of them to increase the increase the chances, like the ammo scavenger mods 2 - Have ammo finder mods deprecated and remove from the game, but greatly buff the amount of ammo you receive in-game especially in PvE. (Similar to Traction where it used to be a mod, but it's a part of you without being a mod) 3 - Have the orb-making mods be in a chest piece or class armor, rather than a helmet. 5 - Others I know people are upset and greatly disagree, and some would claim they're quitting Destiny 2 yet the same type of people said the same thing during the time when Bungie announced snipers and Izanagi getting a nerf and they're still here playing.

They should not have said anything at all or they should have fully explained the idea. Lo and behold everyone is bickering about it and they wonder why there various parts of the player base get at each others throats, the answer is bungie antagonizes with the little things they say waits a bit then explains weeks later
