Because Hawkmoon and DMT are currently the only exotic weapons with random rolls, it's possible they could be added as world loot drops after their missions are vaulted for anyone who has already discovered them.

I’m guessing the exotics will be added to the Monument to Lost Lights once the missions enter the DCV since that’s what happened with Whisper of the Worm and Outbreak Perfected when The Whisper and Zero Hour missions entered the DCV.
