A lot of it is lag. Played a guy last night who seemed to pop out and hit every headshot before a normal human being could even react. I talked with him about it and he sent me his gameplay video. We both play on different consoles. On his video I was literally standing still for a good half second so he could line up his shots and then I would react when it was too late. I sent him my video and he was shocked. On my video it look like he was shooting before he even appeared. Both of us are on next GEN consoles, both of us have high Internet speed and low latency displays. P2P and cross platform is never gonna work. The best thing you can do is just accept that it’s not perfect and move on.

Yeah this is what's going on. I bet that there's a mix of crossplay lag, and people who cheat. It's a real mess. That's why I never report a player who is not playing or if I see someone jump off the map. I don't blame them anymore. They're just there for pinnacles. Game really sucks.

Honestly major crossplay issues may account for many that look like cheaters, but I still think there are many “cheaters”. People that use devices that others on console don’t have. I can only speak for consoles as pc is another level of cheats.

I see this crap in pretty much every match on PC. Every weapon seem to one shot me from any distance, no direct line of vision required, while my hits do nearly no damage and register far too late. So funny to watch streamers who somehow pop in front of two enemies and don't die this very second.
