Bungie needs to put the same effort they do into PVP as PVE. Cause for that past few few years they seem to not even remotely care about PvP!

3 通の返信Sniping also needs a re-wrok. Sliding and sniping? in what world? Shooting through flinch? What kind of nonsense space magic is this. There is far too much reward and far too little risk with sniping in this game.
-
2 通の返信Bungie know as well that there is a great issue with excessive mobility in Crucible, godly aim assist, lack of flinch for precision weapons, certain random perks that make weapons too powerful or weapons that clearly outclass others (hand cannons beat auto, pulse or scout rifles most of the time at almost any range). Almost nothing works as it should to keep a healthy population and remove toxicity from the game. The question is WHEN they are going to address all of it openly and honestly. They said years ago that they were renewing the focus on PVP... Well, where is it? Crucible has gotten worse and worse. One new map a year? Really? Is that the best Bungie can do? No regular patches to balance weapons, perks or maps? Just one new map a year. It's infuriating, it really is.

6 通の返信add the option to turn off cross play. bungie didnt test how bad the game plays across platform

2 通の返信Clash is trash Keep control as the main mode at least camper won't get wins More map isn't a fix.....

Hear me out add ranks to competitive add a competitive armor set and add different flairs based on what rank you hit make a bronze silver gold system and make the rewards for the top of the ladder worthwhile and I think that could singlehandedly save comp pvp as a big comp player myself who grinds to mythic and above every season there is no incentive for me to hit it matchmaking sucks rewards are lackluster just add a system and rewards and it will help

2 通の返信I see a lot of posts voicing their opinion on how pvp is and what it should be like, I think we tend to forget that this is mainly a PVE game, pvp is extra. Looking for a real satisfying pvp experience? look elsewhere, COD Apex and the such.

1 返信Demon_XXVIIにより編集済み: 1/6/2022 4:12:36 AMNEW (expandable & capable of alterations) maps, not D1 revisits (but saying they can’t learn from some of the bigger, better D1 maps) Rewind the dreadful abilities patch At least 7+ spawn locations on every map (with sight lines blocked so people can’t spawn snipe etc) Compromise & adjust the hit scan/hip fire/spam weapons & special ammo Make the maps 100% solid (no climbing out of bounds/finding hiding spots on rooftops/trees etc) 5vs5 would be a great start (less people - more space) No more than a 3stack in QP (still allows for people to play with clan/friends etc) This along with 5max on a team allows for solos to get into games where they’re not rolled at every opportunity SBMM (properly monitored & with tight KD/KDA guidelines) If you queue up with friends whom are 2.0/3.0 kda etc - expect their matchmaking Rank/Tier ladder system in IB & Trials - climb up through the weeks, climb rungs & tiers (possible to drop rungs, but never tiers) Allowing players who go flawless etc to stay in their sections & the better players will always climb up/out Earn great cosmetic loot for climbing the 8 Tiers (That’s what the sweats will want to show off)

Tl/dr - player numbers and Bungo's own efforts thus far show that a PvP overhaul is both unlikely and unlikely to be any good if it ever does happen. Ok.... I don't disagree, PvP does need an overhaul. I don't like PvP in Destiny, I don't like the way Bungo handle it and how they affect PvE for PvP issues. But I fully appreciate that some people love Destiny PvP and I think they absolutely deserve to have an enjoyable PvP experience that sees dev effort and improvements. They pay their money, they deserve a good product. With that out of the way I'm just going to throw out some info as to why PvP is somewhat neglected, but also why, based on their previous actions, one should have little to no expectations from Bungo here. https://warmind.io/activity "Real-Time Guardian Activity Snapshot: 3 hours " Crucible - 12.5% Private Crucible - 1.0% 100% - 12.5% - 1.0% = 86.5% not playing PvP. When IB or Cheats is up, the PvP figure does rise, but generally taps out around 30% at peak times (IB week start, Cheats weekend start), then drops to the 15-25% level. If I was a dev, looking at those numbers, where would I focus my effort, where would I see the potential greatest financial reward for my effort? And of course, PvP has had a massive overhaul. Remember launch PvP? 4 v 4, 1 super a match, make a cup of tea TTK. Bungo's grand PvP vision was a massive fail with abysmal player numbers. Then it was overhauled to 6 v 6, quicker ttk, more abilities etc (yet still a lot of maps designed for 4 v 4.) PvP is vastly different now. Yet it is, based on the majority of feedback that I read, still awful. (And I feel Bungo have a sense of 'job done'.) Can we even realistically expect that Bungo are able to overhaul PvP to a version that satisifies players? Fortunately we sort of have an answer to that as there is a PvP mode Bungo have spent some time on. Cheats has had two overhauls since launch. There are two main issues here. First...launch Cheats was initially removed for a long time so Bungo could get it right! Why launch with an enjoyable rewarding mode lol. Then when it returned, it was still so poor it needed a second rework. So two utter fails. Now, depending on where you look, this third iteration of Cheats is either the best thing ever, or still garbage. So maybe 2.5 fails...? That doesn't offer much hope imo. Second...that's a lot of time spent on a niche mode, not just in terms of PvP in general, but within PvP itself, niche within niche. Surely Bungo should have used that time for the benefit of ALL PvP players. But they didn't. Their priorities, whatever they were, made them focus on a smaller PvP player pool. Do Bungo even see that PvP needs work? What else... Oh, how long since PvP got a new map? An actual new map? What about a reskinned map? How many times can Bungo lie to people 'renewed PvP focus' etc.

4 通の返信AbsolutZeroGIにより編集済み: 1/6/2022 5:18:34 PMPvP in this game will never be fixed. The community as a majority wants one hit kills, ability spam, and fake "power fantasy". They want stacks, easy wins, and to teabag new lights until they stop playing. This game has a toxicity problem.

I mean yea. Knowing Bungie tho, another "renewed pvp focus" trailer is already in the making, promising significant changes for pvp on or before season 210 in the year 2055 and as a result we get 2 reissued trials weapons from D1 and they take another 11 maps away from us but hey, ONE new map in exchange will get added within the next 3 years so be happy pvp players :) We all know that's bs.

34 通の返信Most of this can be fixed with some sbmm. Maybe some weapon tuning. Some server maintenance would be swell right now. Everything else I agree with
-
2 通の返信Sadly they do not have the talent to figure out PvP. The problem will never resolve with the current team they have in place.
-
6 通の返信Pvp only needs new maps and modes with maybe the removal of lobby balancing. That's it
-
Broken aim assist cheese weapons really need dealt with. Fixing all the things you mentioned would be great but getting controller aim assist cheesed with last word, snipers, slugs, crimson, lorentz n such is enough to make sure its still a miserable experience for the people on the receiving end.

3 通の返信If I can use the same load out on every single map.. that’s when you know there’s a problem.

It needs Dedicated Regional Servers, let players choose their regional data centre based on best ping (like Respawn did with Titanfall 2) then remove CBMM and incorporate SBMM so players can match within their skill bracket…
