The Beyond Light Standard comes with no pass.
The Beyond Light Standard+1 comes with 1 season depending on when it was bought
The Beyond Light Deluxe edition comes with seasons 12-15.

Last night. I'm not sure which one he got but I know it's the one currently on special on steam for the winter sale. I just asked him and he said he bought the exact same one last night for himself as well and he got the season pass for it

Ok. To start the season pass Director-Destinations- Helm above the big white in the center, then go downstairs to the Compass and interact this will give you your first mission. To start Beyond Light, Director-Destinations-Europa-Variks to start.
