Titan got left behind in PvP

The honey moon phase is over with the update and here’s my conclusions on the changes Shoulder charge: I like the changes made to activation up time and lunge distance but the hit registration is still way too inconsistent. When using peregrine greaves and shield bash to go against supers I found that trying to connect the hit at new intended buffed range doesn’t work 6/10 times and due to the ability having a weird hit cone any enemy past 5 meters can lead to sliding off or going through an enemy. Supers / super tiers: I think the main drawback to even playing a Titan in PVP to begin with is how long every super recharges. Not having having options in tier 4 or 5 is a huge disadvantage from the get go. I know bubble will be moved to tier 5 in the witch queen update but the overall general supers for titan aren’t strong enough to be in the higher tiers biggest example is behemoth. Glacial quake has the lowest damage resistance amongst every super in game static or roaming with the exception of golden gun. The super moves incredibly slow, movement is strictly linear like every over titan super, and the damage is negligible for how slow and weak it is. Yet bungie decided to put the worst stasis super and worst super in game to have the highest recharge rate? Neutral game and PvP centric classes: It’s no surprise that Titan doesn’t have many PvP centric abilities currently. Either they received a lot of nerfs to efficacy or recharge time significantly. But the reason why titan has the lowest useage rate inside of Destiny 2 is because as a design point titan is more half baked than trials was coming into season 10. If you look at all 10 Titan classes you’ll see that everything is melee centric. Abilities that provide after effects to your melees mostly and nothing beyond that. Sure there’s sun warrior, and inertia override to give you neutral buffs to damage but everything comes with cost of conflict. There’s no abilities on Titan that give you preemptive advantage on setup there isn’t Anything like heat rises, or going invisible, or devour. There’s nothing to fix bad positioning like the other two classes that have dodges or aerial maneuverability. Instead our kit only includes whatever melee we have equipped a grenade that is strictly an AOE non tracking/ seeking nade. And a barricade that gets shut down by minimal effort and damage passes through all the time. I can go on and on more about exotic utility and how the resent nerfs made things like insurmountable skullfort, worm god caress, doom fang Pauldrons worthless in the current sandbox getting rid of any build crafting in competitive pvp. But that can be a separate post on its own. I know this is getting long but titan is debatably in the worst spot it’s been since vanilla D1 in PvP. Titan needs ability variety that is actually worth using and isn’t a gimmick that requires a ton of unrealistic setup to accomplish consistently.
