In all honesty though, the entire concept of the game mode is not good since it depends on people getting matched against lesser skilled players to actually go flawless. If you had to play teams that were similar skill then your chances of winning any match would be close to 50/50. Most people regardless of skill level would have a rough time going flawless if most matches they had a 50/50 chance of winning.

Your logic fails to move those with elite skill who desperately will do anything possible to ensure they don't have to play equally skilled players constantly.. Yet will tout the system currently in play as healthy.. Tell me what is healthy for a solo, terrible player with .5 kd in control to be in Trials and constantly loose to these elite players.. Does that lowly player have any benefit aside from bashing their head in for a few hours to get a few armour peices and weapons.. Once they have those few things, they leave because there is no reason to continue to play. Trials was made for the elites to show off.. let them continue to have the mess they have created.

I never made any suggestions for a solution or how to fix anything. I just stated that the game depends on teams getting matched up against lower skilled teams in order to reach the "end game" goal of going flawless. I then tried to somewhat elaborate on that point. Sorry that my original post wasn't as clear as it could have been.

I think we are saying the same thing. What is the point of those at the bottom of the skill gap to play trials? there is no incentive. For the top players, its loot and money and notoriety. They have plenty to play for but, those at the bottom, IF they choose to take that leap, are always facing the uphill battle and rarely get anywhere.. Once they have the armour which is now able to be turned into an ornament, meaning nobody need to farm for additional rolls, and a few of the weapons they might be after.. they stop playing as there is nothing left for them to gain. This system is set up for elites to make money, get the notoriety and save bungie advertising money because the streamers, elite players do it for bunige and all they have to do is provide the play area for these players to earn in.
