I just got my second restriction due to network problems and now I can’t play pvp for two months??
I’ve done everything that’s in my power to fix it, but sometimes I still lag a little and now I’m being treated as if I was cheating.
I feel like you should get temporarily banned for 24 hours for something like especially when it’s out of your control.
I’m just really worried since this is my favorite game and I love playing pvp, but I feel like that my third restriction is inevitable and I’ll be permanently banned on my account that’s been playing since day one of destiny.

3 通の返信poor internet does not result in a permanent ban. have you considered the negative effect your lagging has on the other players in pvp? hard to target/kill someone that's rubberbanding all over the map due to lagging. it's not fair. what are your speeds up and down? wifi or wired connection? wifi is notorious for packet loss and latency.

Check your network as outline below. Call your ISP to see what is going on. You could be getting dinged by bad routing by your ISP. Data caps (which ISPs will often throttle your bandwidth—-speed—if you exceed the). Or you could have a bad cable or other bad connection. I’ve had problems in the past with my ISP making upgrades and would route traffic in circles so the could do the work on weekends. Made online gaming that day impossible. I’ve also had a bad cable leading from the local cable TV node to my house. Some dimwit tech used cable rated for indoor use, outdoors and buried it. Of course water and weather degraded it..and it had to be replaced. I had been struggling with unstable connections to the game for months, thinking it was Bungie’s fault. Once the cable was replaced…that problem was solved. But another one was created in my home that is best left for a different rant.

Solution: -Wired or 100% wifi connection -Static ip address -Disable upnp and enable dmz mode -If bandwidth is an issue, enable qos to reserve at least 20/3 mbps Due to pvp having p2p servers, consistently unstable internet hurts other players much more than the person with the bad internet hence the punishment.
