WE GOT EM BOYS! DoE AFK farmers.
Today we got our first DoE AFK farmer banned boys! We got a message from them on their Steam alt account and they were maaaaaaad!
It's a drop in the ocean but its a start. Hopefully we can get more of these losers banned.
Edit - can't believe the amount of AFK farmers on here trying to defend it 🤡
Yes I know DoE isn't hard but no one likes to carry dead weight, especially when there's at least 2 AFK farmers in the lobby.
It's a team effort guys 🦾

1 返信1. You take this game way to serious. 2. The normal DOE is so easy u can do it with 3 3. I’d welcome an afk player makes it easier to do bounties. Now if it’s the legendary version then AFK player would be annoying. 🤷🏻♂️

It’s crazy the people defending it. The difficulty of the activity is not the point. People getting rewarded for doing nothing is where the frustration comes in at. It doesn’t matter how hard other players had to work. The individual afk didn’t do any work for the reward.

15 通の返信The fact that you are more excited about the outcome of someone else rather than yourself, is an example of this community going downhill and why I barely play anymore. Who care what someone else does? If you say "carrying dead weight" then you really are bad. I played DoE maybe a few times and it was a joke at best. 2 people can do it no problem. The real issue, is the bounties force people to ignore any type of teamwork and focus on themselves. Answer me this, if a person is working on his bounties and doesn't do anything to help progress it faster, should they boot him too? Bungie successfully made a multiplayer game that focuses on single player progress.

12 通の返信Well, afk farming is a detriment to your fellow players, but honestly Bungie ought to take some responsibility for creating such a mind numbing grind. I played it a few times and it was ok, but doing this 50 or a 100 times cannot be good for your mental health. Encouraging this sort of odium isn’t exactly virtuous either.

12 通の返信So, you got someone banned, just cause they either A: played the game too much got burned out and didn’t want to miss out Or B: actually do it to be annoying I’d you ask me I don’t really care, cause if your doing bounties, that’s one less person in the way, but I wouldn’t kick them from it I mean, they just lost everything they worked for just cause of those two reasons, what happens if you go afk and they assumed you were doing it, say just to go to the bathroom, I ain’t defending anyone of doing it, but that is just sad Banned cause of burn out or just being annoying, you just took so much work away and I would be annoyed as well

6 通の返信AFK farming is the most negligibly harmful thing that can be done in Destiny because no activity of [i]significant difficulty[/i] matchmakes for you. Thusly, the ACTUAL impact it has on your experience is so small it’s hard to consider problematic. Especially considering the exact activity you were doing has a challenge for doing it short handed (and you weren’t even doing the Legend version), I would just be like “more for me” and take the extra free kills on my Gjallarhorn. As a real life analogy, you basically got someone arrested for jaywalking. Is that something a person ought to feel good about? I wouldn’t. Feels petty.
