Bungie has changed the way super recharge to solve PVP camping issue. Overall super is charged faster in PvE. Not so sure about pvp which I have no interest. I supposed as long as you constantly in combat, it should charge faster. Since I don't care about intellectual stats, the change is benefiting (PvE). Other abilities not so much though.

For the most part, I'm not a fan of the ability economy changes either. For PvP, it's fine, but the problem sources more-so in PvE which has had a large reduction in ability uptime (Not just supers), and puts more pressure on players to land ability hits, especially on some abilities where enemies are capable of simple dodging out of them (Can we also talk about how duskfields were completely neutered in PvE?). Even more of an issue was that these changes were pushed out without adjusting existing ability related bounties and progression systems (I feel for those who have not completed their class ability triumphs), and given a much slower paced ability game things are more hurtful now. Also, yes intellect only covers passive regeneration, but it should also cover active regeneration as well. Having a super cooldown with a base of 10:00+ at tier 3 is outlandish in a game that advertises "space magic" as a primary form of combat in PvE. My two cents, variable cooldown system was a nice introduction, especially if light 3.0 means some aspects will introduce new abilities that need different cooldowns, but the overall net reduction of ability usage has hurt PvE more than the bandaid damage increases are helping it. I think most of the grenade cooldown changes need to be undone, and supers need another pass, preferably to make intellect also affect your active regeneration rate as well.

3 通の返信That’s the PASSIVE regen stat. You get considerably more super energy than in the previous sandbox from simply dealing and taking damage, alongside getting kills. Personally, as long as I’m continuously getting into engagements, I’ve barely noticed any difference. I still get 2 supers easily every game in PvP - mind you, that’s on top tree dawnblade, second longest cooldown timer - and on occasion three. Aka - actually try it out, don’t just say “whoa that stat bruh” and call it a day.

5 通の返信With the testing that has been done and how fast you actually do get supers shows you're not telling the informed truth. The changes were necessary to prevent people from camping in the back of maps just waiting for supers.

1 返信The cooldown that it states when you highlight the intellect stat is the base value, meaning standing still doing nothing. Being in active combat (taking or dealing damage) will charge your super.

1 返信If you're camping in the back and not getting any kills then yes, otherwise not really.

1 返信Why do you kids still troll on here? Getting super is literally FASTER than before the change. Just not for people like you who don’t know how to move or shoot.

3 通の返信Angelにより編集済み: 12/19/2021 7:32:50 AMThat’s the passive regeneration stat. Assuming you don’t do any damage and stand still, you’re gonna get a super in 8 and a half minutes. However, if you actually play the game, the super cost is basically cut in half.
