Hello
I have some genuine questions for you certain individuals (you know who you are) who seem to absolutely hate the idea of someone expressing their concern of a certain feature and toss around ideas to make it better. Of the LONG list of Qol changes people like to talk about I'd like to focus on one in particular.... Blues
Now before you start screaming InVenTOry ManAGeMENt at me, just know that I'm one of those people that insta-nuke any blues that have the nerve to show up in my inventory, also I dont usually farm pve activities so I dont have this issue TOO often, but sometimes I'm swarmed with blues and yes its aggravating...
My confusion however is when I see people (specifically those who like to run pve content) Express a simple solution, such as an OPTIONAL auto dismantle feature for example, getting absolutely ravaged by those who seem to hate the idea of someone offering a suggestion to improve player experience, as if it was a sin for them to have the Audacity to question bungie.
Why? When did criticism become such a taboo for this community, D1 had this feature for greens and everyone praised it. I seriously want to know...so tell me, WHAT would be so devastatingly game breaking that some of you would go out of your way to shoot down an idea that would benefit EVERYONE. You guys are... weird... it defies logic that some of you would berate these individuals for something so easy to implement and would ultimately make the playerbase happy. If I'm missing something here please tell me!

Dismantling blues is playtime filler. The second and a half to dismantle may seem inconvenient at most but it adds up over hundreds and thousands of items. They could very easily swap it to a sub second or instant dismantle, similar to mods and shaders

1 返信1. You are posting on a public forum. People can respond however they feel towards whatever it is you posted. 2. Blues, yes they are pointless at a certain point. 3. I don’t need Bungie wasting time and resources doing anything about blues because I am not lazy and am capable of deleting stuff during down time or in between activities.

3 通の返信Blues are still useful for infusion. Net everything needs to be above the Hard Cap, and with the Legendary Shard cost of things like focusing Trials rewards, removing blues would have a large effect on the game's economy, even if added as a toggle.

2 通の返信Why are you concerned about people shooting your idea down? It's not as if them shooting it down is the reason it doesn't get implemented.

1 返信Prepare for “PeOpLe CaN sAy WhAteVeR tHeY wAnT!” Yeah? People can request whatever they want too.

Personally, I've love an option to auto-dismantle blues provided it is togglable, it only occurs when your base light is over the powerful cap (since blues never go above that), and it's left off by default. On the other hand, some QoL suggestions like matchmaking on all activities simply won't work because of how some activities are structured; in this case, raids just require too much communication that getting that out of random players after loading in is almost out of the question, and things like Legend+ Nightfalls have Locked Loadouts and Extinguish to punish teams tat were ill-equipped upon loading in.
