Didn't care at first cause I don't worry about leveling vanguard or crucible reps but hot damn this dares grind. Seriously what's the point of bounties if they aren't going to give rep for their respective counterparts?
Xp alone isn't encouraging enough to make me want to grab them. Was the rep they granted really that game breaking? Would be cool if you all back peddled on this decision or found a way to make them more rewarding cause right now they feel deprecated but still in the game........

1 返信Then Bungie should remove the bounties rewarding powerfuls from the tower if the playlist bounties don't give rep. It's not like you can't get an overwhelming amount of blues to infuse your way to cap if you're not already there only needing pinnacles for future seasons.

3 通の返信The bounty changes are perfect, let me explain. For a very long time, bounties have been almost necessary in order to play the game efficiently, which has caused many players to resort to bounty grinding in order to level up and rank up. This has been a net drain on player interaction with activities because it feels like you MUST play a certain way to get bounties done or else you are wasting your time. Now, bounties feel more like just an added bonus, which feels a lot better overall. For example, if you are going into a playlist activity, you can pick up all of the daily bounties and just play normally; you will complete some bounties and won't complete others, which is completely okay, you get a small XP bonus which gives you a feeling of progression without needing to completely change the way you play. Where we still have work to do is how bounties can be grinded for XP for leveling, which is a drain. Ideally, we want a game that provides the most XP from the activities themselves rather than bounties. The recent changes however have been a positive step in the right direction overall.

5 通の返信100% agreed. Bounties should count for rep climb. Bungie can't be bothered to refresh the core activities of their game, so the only way they have to make players keep playing that deeply worn content is by putting reputation gains behind it. XP from bounties is not that important since we got seasonal challenges. And considering we get nothing after past level 100 of the battle pass, XP is really useless. The only bounties with any relevance are the ones from the gunsmith, because of the cores.

2 通の返信Ive never been so bored or so frustrated as I am with Dares to get that Catalyst. It's so very tedious. This coming from a guy who started and completed Reckoner in 5 days. (Once I had the armor) At least in Gambit there were moments of suspense. It would be different if we were at the beginning of the season and I had other things to mix in to dull the pain.

1 返信Bounties are for people who want to grind their season LvL, and boost their artifact LL boost. It's not even a difficult grind. My group managed to do it within the first three days, and that's after teaching people the Dungeon. Just takes time, and playing with friends you can shoot the sh*t with to make the time pass by quicker.
