Cross save lock out
Ive been recieving a LOT of code weasel lately and after exhausting everything I wen to disable cross save because I no longer use PS4 and suspect maybe somebody was trying to use it maliciously. I had Linked my PS4 account and Steam account to recover my characters originally. Been playing PC destiny 2 for a long time now and just purchased the witch queen, bungie 30th pack. Did not see any warnings about disabling cross save would lock me out of my characters or that I would have to wait 90!? days to relink them after that realiziation that my characters were not also tied to my steam profile. Its called CROSS SAVE not ps4 save not save only to another account. I thought it saved to all accounts that were linked so disabling it would only remove my access to PS4 but NOPE! just got scammed out of 100 dollars worth of fresh DLC and the events going on LMAO. I want my access to my account back. Playing from a fresh Steam save is pointless since as soon as I re-enable cross save that steam progress goes away...... I want my access back to my characters since I LITERALLY just bought

2 通の返信No warning? Lol literally on the front page of cross save Can I disable Cross Save once I’ve enabled it? Cross Save is intended to be a one-time action, but we realize there may be cases in which you want to visit the characters you left behind. Once Cross Save has been disabled, you will have access to your original characters on each platform. There is a 90-day wait to re-enable the feature. This policy exists to discourage activity like account recoveries by other players.

Bungie will not under any circumstances remove the lock-out period. This is implemented as a security measure[b]. At every step of the un-linking process, it informs you that you will be locked if you carry on.[/b] [quote]PLEASE NOTE If players disable their Cross-Save for any reason they will have to wait out the 90-day lockout before they can enable Cross-Save again. There are no exceptions to this policy.[/quote]
