How is Stasis not a core part of this game?
So, here's the situation: I'm on Xbox and didn't have to pay for Beyond Light. Cool. D2 left gamepass and I lost like a third of the game. Fine.
I don't expect to get to keep the campaign or raid that came with the expansion, but it just feels so scummy that I lost a subclass.
The kicker is, it's so -blam!- backwards to let people play something for free for 2 years and then when they have zero interest in playing the content anymore, hold an entire subclass hostage unless they fork over $40.
Make Stasis a core part of the game, like it should be.

boiにより編集済み: 12/15/2021 10:12:13 PMThis is comparable to the 3 Subclasses that were added in The Taken King in D1 (Nightstalker, Stormcaller, Sunbreaker) - they were not a core part of the game and required a DLC purchase to gain access to use Same with the middle tree supers on all classes in D2 - They require you to own Forsaken This is nothing new.

Why do Gamepass owners have such a hard time knowing what budgeting is? Yeah the $40 price tag is bad since I think Beyond Light should be $20 right now since Witch Queen is around the corner But you also need to realize that since Bungie split from Activision, They kinda had to pull all this stuff to get enough funding as a independent developer again All Gamepass is a Netflix subscription but for Video games, Not every single game should be free on it

Dang, lots of entitled people. You either pay to get the stuff. Or you don’t get it. Consider the free 2 years thing as a blessing, because if they didn’t give it to Gamepass, no one would complain.

Like the 3rd trees for Light subclasses, Stasis requires ownership of Beyond Light. A discount was announced at the same time Bungie detailed the removal from Xbox Game Pass; further discounts may be on the way after The Witch Queen launches starting Year 5.
