I forayed back into Iron Banner this past weekend and must say a few matches were frustrating as can be. Spawn killed 7 times by a sniper, before it moved the spawn just to be spawn killed again. Now before everyone goes off and starts the git gud crap, I am colorblind to start, and certain maps are just a big blob to me. I find it difficult to see about anything on the map so try to limit myself to the areas where I can see better. I have no choice where I am spawned on the map.
When I say spawn killed I mean screen goes from black to just my corpse with a countdown timer to revive seconds after you hear the spawn tone.
IMHO I can see where Pvp can be fun, but until something is done to penalize those who have played so much they can spawn kill others, I feel this part of the game is more frustration then I care to give myself. I play to have fun and better my hand eye coordination.
One match the 3 stack had their supers 10 seconds into the match, took excessive amount of damage to kill.
Just had to rant so all you die hards have fun and thanks for ruining what should be a fun time.

10 通の返信To fix spawn trapping all they need to do is create more spawns, having players spawn literally everywhere can and will throw pros off guard, especially the snipers However the game does offer features for colourblind people to make it easier, I hope they cater to you too

3 通の返信Lol I doubt players had supers 10 sec into the match. The regen was just nerfed in a big way. Seems like you lack knowledge of map rotation/control and probably find yourself alone, fighting multiple opponents. If so that is on you. PvP takes practice. There is a wealth of resources out there to help you get better. I am cool guy, True Vanguard, Shadow, Etc all have a guides on YT and stream regularly. Watch, learn, practice. You got this!!

Seriously what an entitled attitude
One match the 3 stack had their supers 10 seconds into the match, took excessive amount of damage to kill.
We all know this is a lie, why do people straight up make up the most ridiculous things?
Just had to rant so all you die hards have fun and thanks for ruining what should be a fun time.
You ruined your own "fun time" by blaming "good" players and getting frustrated instead of attempting to focus on the positives in your games.

Penalise good players for taking time to learn maps... incredible. Whatever next, penalise people in trials with a higher light level because they spent time earning gear? Won't bother with "git gud" but I will bother with "git out". Byeeeeeee.

1 返信
One match the 3 stack had their supers 10 seconds into the match, took excessive amount of damage to kill. .
It’s people spouting blatant lies like this in rants that stops anyone from taking your complaints seriously. I’m not doubting that you had a bad time but it’s BS like this that makes every claim you made look like a lie

Iron banner is -blam!-, but my god your argument is just as bad

On a real note the colour blind issues do suck though I hope those issues get resolved for you.

I can see where in 2013 the online game scene was still in toddler phase.. but OG is a 2x HS Senior.. ny99a got a car with 2 15s and sell greenery for the local botanical guy.. it's time to let that go.. Why in 2021 is the developer fine with giving away player positions in pvp?.. Momentum is the way!! 24/7 earn your kill.. no more nerfs.. no more crutch.. keep your trash axx maps and make ppl play the board.. but I'm a low kd ny88a so I don't matter

1 返信
but until something is done to penalize those who have played so much they can spawn kill others
Good job. This comment makes this post irrelevant and is proof that you should just stick to pve from now on because you have no idea what you’re talking about. Why not penalize players who don’t bother getting better at the game huh? Let’s penalize low kd players for getting spawn killed. So ignorant LMAO.

3 通の返信
I can see where Pvp can be fun, but until something is done to penalize those who have played so much
It wouldn't be a PvP if you penalize people for playing it. There is no way you can have a playlist be truly player vs. player if you're going penalize people for being good at it and everyone's still supposed to pretend its competitive. This is why there needs to be a playlist where people aren't going to be punished for believing they are playing a PvP.

1 返信IB sucks for some because unless you’re at near max light you won’t do -blam!-. That’s the game mode. If you can’t -blam!- then don’t come into the swingers party. Seriously these kids and their entitlement. Just pathetic at this point. Stfu and get good or go play halo.

20 通の返信Once again, I shall repeat myself. In order to be good at something(yes this includes videos games) you need to practice. If you have to camp due to handicap limiting were you can see good. You should become a god at it. Learn to own those spots and thrive in them. Also punishing someone that's been playing for years is nonsense. Take the -blam!- beating, learn from it. As for the bad spawns that happens from time to time. Also winning isnt a big deal. Unless you're in trials

11 通の返信"but until something is done to penalize those who have played so much they can spawn kill others," So you're the kind of person to clip the wings of a bird because you can't fly? I'm gonna be brutally honest here. You can't penalize someone for being good at something. It's like deliberately sabotaging someone because they outclass you. If you're after SBMM in this PvP........it won't work because populations aren't high enough and there's other MM algorithms that conflict with it. The 3 stacks having their supers 10 seconds in from the beginning of the match means they're cheating. Unless you joined mid game. PvP can be fun but it's not on anyone else for you to enjoy yourself out there. It's on you. I feel for you on being colour blind, have you tried the various colour blind settings available?

1 返信What is your light? Dont forget that IB is endgame pvp, the light counts, if you are just starting in Destiny in general, if your light level is 1285 for example, you are going to lose for sure against someone with the top light level which is 1330, & no matter if you are a good player or not, please do not forget it. About the rest of what you said, well, rarely you are being killed in your spawn except if your team is losing for a lot, normally if the team is balanced enough, the enemy can´t get to your respawn. Supers, actually there is less often since Bungie put the charging time longer, you can see 1 super per pj more or less in a normal match. The matchmaking is horrible, yes, no doubt, I don´t know what the game tries with the RNG, but basically you face that if you have got high KD you need to carry the entire team until you low the KD, so as a player with a higher KD range I must say that I´m not good enough to carry the team by myself (well, still). My advice, if you like pvp & want to be good, you need to know that all pvp players start as noobs, when I started to play, maybe my kd was 0.5 per match, that was Destiny 1, & the matches were hard as now, so... if you dont like pvp, just play pve, Destiny has got one of the best pve content at all game as services games.

11 通の返信Namenameにより編集済み: 12/14/2021 3:42:18 AMSomeone in the comments will and has already suggest freelance. You go into freelance you will still get steamrolled and spawn killed because the matchmaking is just that -blam!- bad for noobs. Bungie knows this and they don't care. They would rather pander to the sweats rather than protect your enjoyment.

1 返信Most of the players are cannon fodder for a few players. That is the matchmaking system. End of discussion.

I was going to right a post about my experience also, so may as well drop it here. Also an average player but trying to get better. But spawn kills definitely annoying but out of around 50 games give or take it was real bad about 3. Worse stack I came across was 4. With 4 pieces of Iron Banner armour and ghost mod I only received two prisims in that amount of games so worse than one in 20 games ???? WTF. 2 times came across blatant cheats, both on PC. One must have been an aim bot, another took two Jotunn shots and a grenade and lost zero health. How is that even fun. Twice removed from games because slaughtered only to face nearly exact same teams to get slaughtered again. Twice dropped into a game that was finished. No idea how long in menus. Overall it wasn't horrible but sure wasn't amazing. Oh and in that whole time not tea bagged once but was on a team that was bagging others. Both were flawless. Get a life.

6 通の返信That was probably some terrible luck. I have been spawn killed less than 5 times in all my time playing destiny. Also, you can que in the freelance playlist where there are no teams.
