Why on earth are Overload Champions so difficult to kill? They're constantly teleporting regaining health but they're still stunned? Like Overload mods are the worst because they DON'T actually bloody work! Like honestly it's infuriating, please sort something out Bungie.

1 返信Because Destiny’s design additions do not overhaul the coding, they add layers. Overload champion mechanic is added to enemies that have teleporting mechanic as a means to regenerate health/shields. So unless you use an action that stops the teleporting mechanic, it will take priority over the champion mechanic. There’s also glitches in the coding that can prevent rationality and consistency. In these cases it’s better to just let the champion go, regenerate fully, let him go back to his things so that it kinda resets, then start over. I mean, we can’t expect Bungie to fix them.

It’s honestly just Overload Captains for me. Taken Hobgoblins and Chieftains are annoying for the sheer amount of damage their weapons do, but nothings more annoying than overload captains teleporting everywhere. I’m almost happy when I walk into a fallen encounter and find a Barrier Servitor instead making things 20m from it through walls immune.

1 返信Bleak Watcher solves this problem. Freezing them resets the stun timer, but I agree, they don’t stand bloody still! *looks at fallen captains*

Terrible Foxにより編集済み: 12/12/2021 5:08:12 PMThey enter a small immune phase that bungie never told anyone about. You'll see them flash a 1/2 a second or so after they come back to life, that means they are vulnerable to overload shot again. It's stupid and it makes the game harder for no reason and no other champions do this. The game would be slightly easier but much more fun if Bungie brought them back in line, but when does bungie ever lean towards fun over grind? Edit: they're not invulnerable to damage just to overload shot

Yup. You stun them, you hear the"I'm Stunned" sound and see the "xxx stunned a champion" messgae, then they walk 30 feet, teleport into cover and are already healing. And this is with DOT Bows like Monarque or Ticcune's, which should continually attack them. Super Fun time - Great Job Bungle.

Overload champions in the recent Legend lost sectors (ex: Bunker E15) are laughably bad. Have fun bouncing across the room - wasting half your sword ammo - while you bounce around the room, chasing a mob that teleports every 1-2 sword swings. The teleporting seems worse in low-man content (or perhaps just lost sectors) than it is in end-game activities like GMs. Things seemed to get better with Bungie's recent fix addressing this but their erratic behavior seems to have returned..

1 返信Why does NO ONE on this forums know how to use anti overload mods? You kids complain about them every single day when most people have never had an issue with them at all.

GUARDIAN-IXにより編集済み: 12/11/2021 10:23:22 PMYou need to stun the Overload at first (with your Overload mod). Fully drawn bows work well. you‘lll hear a special sound when they get stunned. Then hit him with your special, or your rocket launcher, or some powerful Energy Weapon. Stasis and the new 30th Anniversary sword Half-Truths is a combo to try. If you have some room in the map to keep apace, a few volleys of your rocket launcher works. When in doubt, work in pairs.

3 通の返信The entire point is to put them down quickly. Stun and then big damage. Three (crit) shots from a vorpal threaded needle and they're gone.

1 返信The distance between you and the Champion is the key. Too far or too close and it teleports.
