The real Bungie (let’s guess whom the culprits are) https://www.ign.com/articles/bungie-report-battle-soul-work-culture-harassment-crunch And their hastily written apology https://www.bungie.net/en/News/Article/50895

They're clearly trying to better and improve workplace quality.
Yeah, 7+ years later, (after the fact of how much damage was done.) 🤦♂️ Edit: The truth here is if it wasn't getting the attention it is now, it would literally still be going on and that is 100% fact. The only defense between all those years and now is that they can't ignore it anymore. So who are you trying to fool here?
You're an -blam!- for using that article to slam bungie. They're clearly trying to better and improve workplace quality.
With all due respect, hiring more women/PoC doesn't reduce harassment per se. The issue is harassment, not how many women are working in the company. Secondly, did the CEO released this before or after the article? Because when these things released after, they are about damage control than anything else. Now we can't say they didn't do anything about it, but you also can't say "clearly they are trying to make it better" again considering the specific language used in the apology. They "believe" the culprits are no longer with Bungie, but they don't exactly "know". The reason CEO doesn't speak with certainty so he can have deniability otherwise it'd be weird for CEO to not know if the those people are still in the company or not.

Firing harassers do. I'm not arguing about that. The other guy was just using all this bad press to dunk on bungie. That's the problem I have. Using bad press to fuel a bad faith argument.

wolbeasにより編集済み: 12/11/2021 1:47:42 PM
Well it's not exactly a good thing when people are getting harassed in the workplace. It's bad. Terrible.
Sure the act of harassment is but that doesn't make this bad press, on the contrary that makes this a good one to bring it to the attention of people.
Right. I wasn't intending for my post to sound as if I'm angry it came out. Just stating that weaponizing this story like the OP did was in bad faith.
Well sure, I don't think employees at Bungie gather around every day to discuss how to harass or bully people

No you came in to shill for a company that treats their employees like trash and allows rampant -blam!- harassment. You're trash for supporting this company because you're a fanboy over a video game. Get -blam!-.
