It is not OP in any way shape or form, it’s a sidearm uses special ammo. It’s literal perk is called “pace yourself” meaning take your time between your shots, the so called faster than average TTK means nothing. Do not compare things like Not Forgotten or Luna’s Howl to this gun. One of them is a special weapon while the other ones are primary ammo weapons. Infinite vs limited ammo. Are you going to give up a shotgun, sniper rifle, fusion rifle or a grenade launcher in the special shot for a sidearm? You’re most definitely not. I hate when youtubers call things OP when in practice they are not. Do you use Eriana’s Vow? A weapon capable of 2 tapping or 1 tapping with any sort of buff, it can one shot and it is easier to use than a sniper rifle so why not?
A nerf to this gun would be unnecessary and definitely quite dumb considering it is a SPECIAL AMMO SIDEARM. It is a unique gun with a unique meaning behind it for a lot of people. It is fun to use but not overpower in any way.

1 返信People are really complaining about a special weapon that has a 0.6 optimal ttk? How is this not balanced?
-
5 通の返信Anyone who thinks it’s balanced because it uses special ammo just can’t accept that basically 2 free kills when you spawn in isn’t fair because you literally can’t do anything against it, as every person who uses it as a crutch will wine, cry, and complain because they don’t want to put effort into PvP. Enjoy it while you can cause it’s gonna get nerfed and you know it lol!

Even if it is OP, nerf is NOT the answer. Maybe buff other weapons. Nerfing everything is what caused so many players to leave at the beginning of this game. Destiny was great and fun because of weapons like gally, ice breaker, hawk moon, red death, etc. nerfing things kill the game.

7 通の返信It’s basically a better last word. Yeah last word the fastest killing primary in the game…

27 通の返信Bro I’m sorry but it’s pretty busted. At 50 meters it can three tap. With any type of empowering buff it shoots up to almost 60. Add Luna factions and you can three tap at 70+ meters. It shouldn’t have those kinds of range capabilities. It outguns every handcannon, sniper, fusion. Only thing is maybe a shotgun rusher can kill you but in the right hands it can outgun them. The range needs to be toned down. I’ve been non stop using it since I got it and love it in crucible but even I can acknowledge it’s broken

1 返信It is really good, but not broken. Probably a selling point for the 30 anniversary. Same strategy as making stasis broken at release, but to a lesser degree. I certainly think it’s fightable. Like, not pre-nerf mythoclast punishing, but still extremely good. I think people need to use their ears to listen because it makes a very obnoxious clicking sound when firing. Then you don’t peek those lanes.

vmondudeにより編集済み: 12/12/2021 11:56:50 PMNo way, it's fine. It's good but it's not OP. This is Destiny, there's a whole bundle of things that should be nerfed looong before this. I mean I just fired 5 shots into a guys face and he didn't take a scrap of damage. Granted it was in Iron Lagger but still 🤣

Put it into perspective. It has a faster ttk than the original not forgotten and more range. The only downside is that it takes special ammo and an exotic slot. I would not rule out a nerf, but I would wait to see the reaction of the community to it

It kinda is though, you wouldn't feel the need to defend it otherwise. 3 taps at 50m @ 200rpm.... with the handling and snappiness of a sidearm. Oh and full auto if you need for those actual sidearm moment sub 20m. Special ammo isn't hard enough to come by to say it's balanced out by that. I like it don't get me wrong, but it really doesn't belong in the game quite literally. It breaks too many molds and should have come out as an actual hand cannon using primary ammo imo. Keep the ranged scope in effect ( where is the scope though? ) and allow full auto and increased accuracy when hip firing. Lower the damage to match 180's but simultaneously buff 180's rpm to 200 across the board. Then I'll say it's good 'n fair.

4 通の返信It’s OP and needs a range and aim assist nerf and I love the weapon so I’m not a hater towards it. It’s better at everything trace rifles do which is the closest comparison to how the weapon functions in regards to a special weapon effectively being a powerful primary rather than one shot. It needs to remain a 3-shot kill otherwise it would be terrible but it does need to be harder to use.

2 通の返信I have no idea what to think about it. If you can aim with it it feels op and if you can keep ammo flowing you can run a lobby completely uncontested in primary fights because yours straight up kills faster and from further. But it is also very clunky, takes a lot of flinch, is not super easy to use. So I don't know

Grimmyにより編集済み: 12/11/2021 12:26:29 AMIt’s really not op tbh I think a lot of people who are just really good with it are trying to make it seem op I mean think of it like deadmans as a sidearm and to be fair deadmans three taps to the head and its a primary, forerunner three taps to the head and its a special. The perks and exotic perk itself make sense for it to be how it is, so really calling for a nerf to the sidearm even though it can be outshot if you play smart would be super unnecessary. Plus it starts with enough ammo to get 2 kills like every other special weapon does. I’ve outshot many players using forerunner with the BR and the sidearm takes flinch man I just think you can only win the gun fight using forerunner if you’re the one who lands the first shot. I’m just speaking from crucible experience it’s definitely keeping shotgun users at bay and making them think twice about pushing super aggressively and it does allow you to challenge snipers since 3 peak isn’t a thing anymore in certain game modes. So it’s definitely fair and fun and I will say it’s better using as a long range to medium, close up you can make it work but just need to keep and eye on how much ammo you have I’ve had cases where someone will push me and I run out of ammo shooting them while back peddling or jumping back and miss a couple shots then boom out of ammo. Really forerunners good for pve too btw but overall I will say it’s really balanced. I’m just speaking from my own experience with it and I’ll get killed by it but that’s if I’m already low or I’m just not quick enough to shoot the ultimate swag of a casual hunter or drippy warlock or rocking titan. Seriously man it’s fun and it really drives me away from using hand canons and shotguns during the current meta and to be honest when I go into pvp I rock a halo loadout, it may not win against most weapons but it sure is fun.

It’s the selling feature for the Anniversary edition is my best guess as to why it’s so good. I played with it today and it’s definitely a great weapon in PVP. Many times I was able to win 1 vs 2 because of how quick it can kill and how far away it can do it. If you get the jump on your opponent unless they bail for cover you’ll more often than not win the gunfight with half health at least. It will get nerfed come February so the Witch Queen can have its own “op meta” gun for players to chase.
