You can decide not to use it. That's the whole meaning of OPTIONAL (check the dictionary for further enlightenment on the meaning). Unless you're just another one that is against it just for the sake of being against it.

yeah , thats the crux of my post, they need to make this one change to the matchmaking they need to have two MM options : LFM (looking for more) and LFG (lookig for a group) just as it was in the old lfg pages some years ago.. in LFM , you are fireteamleader and look for more people to play in LFG, you are just looking for a group to play with, so you are not the fireteamleader.

You don't even need the ability to kick, of hes so worried about afk and all that he can still make a fireteam like he can now. I always LFG my pinnacles with no mic required and nothing needed other than a body to pick me up if I make a mistake. People that NEED top notch players for those activities is saying something about themselves.

Hellekeenにより編集済み: 12/10/2021 11:50:01 AMi agree, but those guys that are somehow vigorously against optional Matchmaking (for what reasons ever, since it wont affect them in the slightest, doesnt seem to understand the word "optional" .. i love how bungies idea about MM is completely backwards.. you get a fireteam for the easy version, where i do not need a team and i would love to be able to play solo sometimes its to get my bounties done without setting the clock back on my system, aka forcing an empty lobby, but when ineed a team, MM is off.. i guess Bungies aproach to MM is more Money driven than function driven.. "bring me all you friends!" - Bungie.. its also to keep some content artficially "exclusive" ..

Sometimes a solo players just needs a body. It pulls argo away from them. A afk would still help in those situations. If a clueless guardian manages to live 30 seconds to get a revive it was worth it. Most people are not looking for much with match making. I dont expect it to get easier, just has some forgiveness.
