I think alts are fine. Bans are just a way to for Bungie to flex some muscle; they're more for showing users where the line to cross is rather than discouraging behavior. If a user crosses the line and gets bant, then, logically speaking, they probably won't cross thr line on their alt. And, even if the user is still an -blam!- on their alt, then the alt will just get banned as well. The banhammer is a lighting-fast weapon, no amount of alts can outrun it. And you can do some pretty neat things with an alt if you're creative. A few people used to use them for rps and stuff and krishnas prophet would have never been a thing without alts.

Nothing can or will be done about them. But from years of observing them, it can be surmised that they are traditionally the tool of cowards or would be trolls. Rarely has there ever been any that use them with any non-abrasive or ill intent.
