180 something base damage on headshot for a primary is too much, full stop.
I don’t care if it’s exotic, it is basically a loss in some lobbies, especially compounded by lag and aim assist around corners.
The most frustrating weapon to face, without a doubt. No other bow comes close.

1 返信Not counting Specials: - SMGs - Fighting Lion (plink them around the corner they're holding, especially since it's getting a pretty chonky buff) - Hand Cannons - Basically anything where you're able to force a prolonged engagement. You lose to Bows because you give them time to breathe, let them dictate the engagement. Monarque's only huge perk is the ability to OHK with damage boosts.

Why can't people admit that bow is just dumb? The one thing I've noticed in Trials on convergence is that a good portion of the people that try to use them are really subject to being rushed because they're over confident in their ability to stand there and control everything. One boop and you're almost dead. Come on.

Snipers Shotguns Flinch CQC Barricades Health Regen Exotics/Abiltiies Literally anything with a faster TTK than a bow, which means everything else in the game Also you could start by not casually waltzing into their lane

2 通の返信This gun has been in the game for years. What changed in that time that warranted you making a post saying it is broken? I’ll give you a hint, the gun didn’t change but you just died to it and make this post out of rage. If the gun was an actual problem, everyone would use it ever game but that’s obviously not the case.

Do not peek down lanes. Draw them in or let them stand out in spawn and be bored. I have no issue other than ammo. Limited ammo on hard hitting weapons.. If not, give kinetic ammo to the rest of them.

I played against a team that used Le Monarque in trials, lost of course, then decided to try it myself. Played against a team that instantly recognized what I was using and wouldn’t peek any lanes, and would jump all over the place, dipping in and out of cover, not allowing me to land a shot, and if I did, be unable to clean them up. They would rush me once they closed the gap. I didn’t get a single kill. Good players will find a way to beat a strong weapon. You can do it too.

1 返信The way you counter Le Monarque is you learn to use a bow or a sniper. LM is a frustrating weapon to play against because it lets the user dominate a lane and suppress any resistance. Because getting hit forces you to leave the lane, and recover. So---in many ways---it plays like Thorn used to back in D1. So: 1. Learn how to use a bow effectively. Doesn't need to be an exotic. Just one that hits hard (Explosive Tip is the best). 2. When you get hit by LM, don't fight the mechanics. Accept that loss of control. Leave the lane, and give yourself time to heal 3. The reason you use a bow is that you now have the chance to do the same to the person using the bow. Hits will usually force him to have to leave the lane, which then gives you time to move freely while he's trying to heal. So you use your bow to suppress his using his bow. 4. If you're facing more than one LM user who are working in tandem"? That's a serious problem, and one you're only likely to face in Trials....or if you're playing a really obnoxious group of sweaties in Trials. But only team shooting, and abilities will generally destablize that combo.

6 通の返信I never understood the Le Monarque thing. We were told this style was awful to play against and Thorn was destroyed because of it in Destiny 1. Then in Destiny 2, they introduce this, which only compounds the issue.
